Ok..so all patching ways you said lead to the same result and is a personal choice of everyone wich one like to adopt. Thanks
Well it depends. CBHC (Coldboot Haxchi) and especially Mocha are more like complete custom firmwares and therefore a bit "mightier" than the sigpatches2sysmenu homebrew.
Sigpatches2sysmenu is the fastest of them to disable signature and region checks and to allow playing installed games with DLCs.
However to use FTPiiu everywhere or launch the channel version of the Homebrew Launcher you would need CBHC or Mocha (or the outdated fw.img).

I see..thanx
I decided to keep sysnand and rednand linked too, cause no clue that rednand can be updated succesfully in case a new fw will be released by nintie and is more valuable for me, to have an ext hdd usable on both nands.

its block nintendo update?
Linked nor unlinked nands seems to prevent from fw update if nintie will release it in the future. Anyway linked nands allow to manage an ext hdd (including saves if you store them there) both in sysnand and rednand

Cyan:
I found a solution to my doubts about the injection of seeprom and otp dumps to rednand partition. I had SDIO nand injector extractor 1.1 and now I found another tool named SDIO nand manager 1.3. Both are developed by dimok but only the second one has the option to inject/dump seeprom and otp too.

hey @dimok Can we get a Gamepad display-off/turn-off button combination or something ? please.
The design choice for the Wiiu is so damn weird.
Yeah I've been thinking of this for days. Just auto include Padcon (turn off display by pressing right analog stick) like it's done with Loadiine, that'd be great!

Yes. You simply have to rename every "usr" folder on your harddrive to not have conflict. (maybe dimok will do something for this)

Anyone else with CBHC have issues returning to the system menu from settings? it gets stuck on the Wii U menu splash.

Same here, CFW Mocha is getting stuck for me

In Mocha's Expert settings you need to enable "Use syshax.xml (coldboot)". Also, Make sure that Autoboot is set to Mocha & not System Menu in CBHC's auto boot setting's if your using Mocha.

That's impossible because the wiiu can only format the whole drive, it wont partially format with apps/wiiu/moch.elf on one part and wiiu games on the other, have you tried with a big HDD on your wiiu? I have on my 2TB you cant do it. Also you cannot access your wiius formatted HDD to put folders on as well as rename folders on it to be able to change names, without formatting the whole drive on your pc, its locked and cannot be accessed and that my friend is done for a reason by Nintendo if it was able to be accessed to rename folders etc.. then what would be the point!

What you can do is quote> "The System Menu does list the titles on the partition in the "/usr/" folder on the drive and even the System Settings see the drive and can copy titles over" so what this means is, the drive that is formatted on your pc to look like a proper wiiu formatted drive can copy games over to systemnand or another usb device and the can probably install games on it but you cannot install games and they will work also keeping homebrew on the same wiiu formatted drive and it will work as one. I will break it down, basically you will need one fat32 formatted drive on your pc for apps and install content and you will need another propely wiiu formatted usb drive to actually use your content.

I'm not using CBHC or Haxchi, just CFW Mocha (to launch RedNAND).
Usually it works fine but Today I can't make it to work

I should have said this in my first post tho.
Anyway that's strange because I did nothing special yesterday and Mocha was alright.
I didn't touch the config. Everything is <on> except "Don't relaunch OS" and "Use syshax.xml (coldboothax)"

If I already have Haxchi installed and is on my homepage and not in a folder. What steps should I take cuz I was gonna follow this but am not sure where I should start.
