Hello everyone,


Thank you all to making this community better and better, so generally I never ask for help but this time I can do nothing about it, I can't boot Decrypt9, each time I've got a blackscreen

I've saw some ppl saying I need at least to insert a game card but I've got no one

Is there any way to boot this Decrypt9 without getting Black screen ?

I'm using the files provided from https://3ds.guide/

Without a cart, you won't be able to boot decrypt9. You just have to wait for a more stable build of fasthax for cartless method. Or, for the meantime, use the FBI+fasthax build to install legit cia while waiting for a stable build of safehax.

yeah you should probably go buy a game
just head down to the bargain bin at your local game store and get a second hand cheap game
as long as you got a game card

Yep its how i did it with mine i just put the card in in out of my new 3ds xl like 3 times real fast then it booted.

he does not need to use fw 9.2 at all.. also steelhax is what i used with my gamecard to boot.

I know that he doesn't need to use 9.2, what I meant is that if he is literally trying to boot decrypt9.3dsx by itself it will not run. It only runs standalone on <=9.2

He needs to also be using safehax.

using a gamecard makes the chance from 10%(cartless) to 90%, thats my experience.
I literally tried more than 20 times without a cart and it always results in a black screen.

it does. Safehax is the only one that has this bug(that needs cart to boot arm9.bin)

any. As long as it's not sky3ds(reported and tested by me that it's not working). I've tried Super Mario 3D Land and Diddy Kong Racing DS flashcart.

I have tried booting Decrypt9 with fasthax+safehax with an USA cart on an EUR and it worked on an old 3DS XL. It doesn't matter what game you stick so long as it's a working cart. Therefore,

I suggest buying a random game cart. Cheapest you can find. Haven't tried NDS carts but most probably it will work as well. Flash carts also.

eheh, the fact that safefirmhaxneed a cartridge isn't really wanted by TiniVi, he told me that it's due to safehax who tries to read from teh cartridge for a reason that he doesn't really know, he is trying to fix it asap !
