Finally booted into decrypt9 process ran smoothly then I pressed start to reboot and the 3ds never booted again. I left it for about 40 minutes and then tried restarting it. Nothing worked. I would err everyone on the side of caution when using these unofficial releases!

What "process"? The 2.1.0 ctrtransfer? You have to be more specific.

Have you tried deleting the home menu extdata or booting without an SD card inserted?

Don't use a unofficial release then.

Yeah ive tried booting without the "Nintendo 3DS" folder and without an sd card. also with a different formatted sd card. I would advise everyone to wait for the full release!

Once arm9 code is running, it has nothing to do with fasthax/waithax/safehax anymore. PEBKAC.

you probably did something wrong if decrypt9 booted fasthax and safehax did their job.
try turning it on without the sd card in.

It's not an especially good point though. Fasthax won't brick you, and once you reach Decrypt9 successfully it doesn't really matter how you got there.

If youre wanting to take the risk with an alpha release though which the dev himself said it is buggy, then go ahead.

OP must have flashed the wrong C.T.R image.
Try the recover method above, if nothing happens then you're SOL until you get a hardmod.

Btw, people surprise me that they update to 11.2 to use alpha fasthax. There are more reliable waithax + safehax.
