As best I could determine, this is the current landscape for upcoming 3DS titles coming to America. I'm unsure what if any virtual console titles are officially coming, I'm mostly just interested in tracking the brand new titles. I saw some conflicting things, like one site saying that Mario Sports Superstars in Q1 and not Q3 of 2017, but I saw more sites referring to a spring release, so I'm more inclined to believe the Q3 claim at this time.

1/5 - Quiet, Please!
1/19 - Color Cubes (N3DS exclusive)
1/20 - Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
2/3 - Poochy & Yoshi's Wooly World
Q1 2017 - Antipole DX
Q1 2017 - Blaster Master Zero
Q1 2017 - Runbow Pocket
Q1 2017 - Story of Seasons:Trio of Towns
Q1 2017 - Warlock's Tower
Q2 2017 - 80s Overdrive
Q3 2017 - Lady Layton: The Millionaire Ariadone's Conspiracy
Q3 2017 - Mario Sports Superstars
TBA 2017 - BoxBoy 3
TBA 2017 - Ever Oasis
TBA 2017 - Pikmin 3DS

looks like still some good games left on the 3DS..

but nothing wow imo

The only one I'm really looking forward to is Ever Oasis. I'm intrigued by the new Pikmin as well, but the rest isn't terribly exciting to me, though I'm sure I'll try some of the others as well. I'd assume that Monster Hunter Stories and/or Monster Hunter XX will also come to America, but no word on that yet.

I can't believe the 3DS has gone so long without a Bomberman or Worms game. Bomberman makes some sense as there was initially a Bomberman title planned for the 3DS before Hudson had to be sold off, and ever since Konami has owned them, they don't seem to show any interest in making Bomberman games aside from maybe for mobile. Worms though makes no sense, one would think that Team 17 would have put out a Worms title for the 3DS by now, yet they haven't and have shown no real interest in doing so either. Both the Wii and the DS before it had 2 Worms games made for each system, and before that the Gamecube and GBA had Worms games, and before that the N64 and GBC had worms games, and before that even the SNES had a Worms game.

I feel exactly the same way, only I'm looking forward to DQVIII as well.

>More Dragon Quest remakes
>cannot even make a Chrono Trigger remake
The DS remake came out less than ten years ago. It's not like they're releasing remakes of DQ 4, 5 or 6.

Also note that Dragon Quest is a franchise that has been long maligned outside of Japan, and that many people thought that we would never see the remakes of DQ 7 or 8 in the West. Additionally there are remakes of DQ games (e.g. the Monsters spinoffs) that have seen 3DS releases in Japan but aren't getting localised. Also DQ8 is only the second DQ remake in the West, so it's more like "another Dragon Quest remake".

It was a port.
It really, really, wasn't. I would love to know what your definition of 'port' is.

While VII's a remake, VIII and Chrono Trigger are indeed a port, an 'enhanced' port.
"Re-release" would probably be a less controversial term, but I would still like to know where you would draw the line between remakes and ['enhanced'] ports in regard to a game like Chrono Trigger.
