So, I have noticed that most homebrew is overlooked and developers lose interest in developing it. Well, I was just wondering what the community would appreciate. So please answer this poll and try to keep it alive by commenting what you voted and why. You can only choose one so try to keep it at your most wanted.

I just want to see more apps in general like a proper way to play movies/music on homebrew, the ps1 emulator running at playable speeds, an app that converts any cart to a cia file and installs automatically, the nvidia moonstream client for the 3ds to be done and released, ds emulation bootrom to be updated and, hopefully more to come..

A GBA emulator that actually works and runs fullspeed.

VC is nice, but it's very rudimentary and has no features like savestates, button remapping, etc.

Honestly I just want to see more homebrew. It seems that releases for simple things like just new CIA installers or little games has stopped and everything is focused on downgrading and/or new exploits.
I agree with this the most. Everything is focused on downgrading and more homebrew would be excellent. Especially because you can install them as CIAs with CFW or just play them on userland

Is not an Homebrew in the real sense of the word but something that can works with JKSV save manager: Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy BigBang/SuperNova save editor. But if i have to choose other thing i surly choose more stable emulator and more original homebrew game or ports like, i don't know, Morenatsu port for the 3DS?

The reason it hasn't been done is because it requires Arm9 access to dump a cart but I am not sure installing a CIA can be done on Arm9 unless it is a system update. I mean, maybe a CFW could implement it so that you have an app installed to the nand but is hidden so that when you press L it dumps the Cart and then boots to the sig patched NAND app with arguments to install and delete the CIA but there are probably so many reasons that couldn't work

The only reason I argue against it is because I was going to do something like that but I couldn't finish because of certain reasons

I really hope you have implemented the ability to read romfs from your sd card.
Hans supports this feature, but mhx can not read romfs.

smea said he don't know why.

I would like to run mhx translated version with only homebrew, so that many people will enjoy it.

The only reason I could guess is that it boots into extended memory mode. I would try *hax 2.8 which might work but again I don't know.

Of course I tried to run on the latest version hans & *hax2.8.

In hans, running mhx itself is possible, but stops when reading romfs.

did you try recompiling the romfs? try extracting the modded romfs, use braindump to dump your romfs, place all of the modded files from the modded romfs onto the non-modded romfs, and then recompile and try again. maybe the romfs you are trying to load doesn't have all of the files

Thank you for your reply every time.

I made romfs with mhx I dumped.

I tried to use the modified romfs as well as the original romfs which had not been modified.

I also tried extracting romfs from mhx.cia shared on the internet.

It's not a romfs issue, but I guess hans does not support the custom romfs feature of extended memory games.

An open source cheat engine for the 3ds that is user-friendly.With ntr you can't just put codes in a text file you have to build a cheat plugin, which I could not get to work.

A general save editor would be cool, if you don't know what I mean, imagine all the save editors but in one. That'd be cool. Would also be cool to have cheats with it. A save editor + cheat app... would be pretty cool to have if i do say so myself.
