Aw man this really sucks! Also cyanogen the OS is shutting down too? Dang.

Yeah sadly CyanogenOS, and CyanogenMod is shutting down. LineageOS is what they're 'renaming' it to. I hope this carries on the same amount of productivity that CyanogenMod carried.

Why not call it Nexus or material as it has nothing to to do with CyanogenMod? Dafaq you guys suck at naming.

Sent from my Nexus 4

One of the biggest purposes of this program is to offer a theme-ing system similar to that of CyanogenMod's. The builds for PSP tries to replicate this by allowing you to modify fonts, font sizes, theme styles, custom wallpapers and icon packs. That's one of it's biggest features, hence why I wanted it to call it Cyanogen - instead of plain android. Anyway, the name isn't the reason why I'm discontinuing this, I had quite some problems that I discussed in my previous posts on the page before.

don't fret, my friend, ur still awesome. this is pinky btw. ;) this was/is my name before pinky. I named myself after what cellophane lunacy/gdrive called me since I like pink floyd A LOT. I also wrote in pink a lot due to an inside joke on anther site, so it stuck.

It has nothing to do with CyanogenMod and the theme-ing is not the same(totally different code, everything is different - the way they get applied etc). Just because CyanogenMod(which now is LineageOS) supports themes doesn't mean you gotta call it 'Cyanogen'. What about Substratum? :^)

Welp, the final release for PSP is out if anyone cares. Wish I could have done the same with the 3DS and the Vita, but nothing ever works out the way we want it to. Anyways, I'm done here.

I'll continue working on my other projects, so you'll still see me around.

This is what the installation.txt says:

Steps for installing Cyanogen3DS.

1. Extract/Unzip the archive/zip file.

2. Open the 3ds folder, and copy the "Cyanogen3DS" folder into the /3ds/ folder of your SD card.

3. Open homebrew launcher on your 3DS.

4. Run Cyanogen3DS.

There's no point in this btw, the alpha build doesn't let you do anything. It's just a POC.

Not saying I can right now, but would I, like with current work and also legally, be able to work on this project? If I get better at C this might be an interesting project. I really like it and like the idea and it's a shame to see it end.

I've been pondering about the idea of refactoring most of the code on Cyanogen3DS, ever since I worked with it, it seemed severely hardcoded. That's perfectly fine for something like a PoC, but once a project gains popularity you gotta make a better system.

Unfortunately, since Joel16 won't work on it any further (doesn't matter why) it seemed like a bit of a waste. Especially because most people here are simply asking for features instead of actually implementing them or at least suggesting ways to do so.

However, if you'd be willing to continue development I'd definitely do a few changes and "hand over" the project to you.
