Merry Christmas fellas,

until now I used loadiine for games that i don't own (yet), however I would like to get access to online play and DLC. I can't justify buying a HDD for a handful of games, so is there anything that supports the aforementioned and works with a SD?

E: dafuq happened to the title? :wtf:

get a 64 gig usb flash drive and install them in that.

Thats what I did lol.

Are there downsides (not counting minor increase in loading times) compared to using a HDD?

You can install games to the system itself, ala eShop games. It doesn't actually require a USB.

Which of the new methods would that be? I remember reading haxchi requires USB or something like that.

not really. yeah its not as fast but you aint loading xeonblade off of it right. it has a limited of write times but you probly wont use them. the chip in the wii u has mostly the same nand except it has a controller in it but the nand part is the same usb flash drive nand flash. 16gb drives are like 8 bucks

the brazilian usb method is the one for installing games

Yeah, i bought xenoblade through the eshop when it was released, so the biggest game i would put on the flash drive would probably be mario maker. A 64gb one would cost around the same as a SD card, so I'm gonna go with your idea I think.

Brazil install method requires no CFW or USB.
Haxchi/CFW doesn't need USB either.

Aight, gonna take a proper look at Haxchi/CFW then.

Neat. I got an USB adapter lying around that I used to store legit games on my SD. Might as well use that thing now.
