So my screen broke and while its not completely unplayable it definitely blocks a good portion of the screen and I was looking at my options to repair. Nintendo website didn't tell me how much mine would cost but it said like 80 some dollars and I think I found a $16 dollar replacement on eBay but I'm way over my head here, so I was wondering if anyone would do it with payment of course but without breaking the bank, money is tight right now.

Edit: I live in the united States in la puente, California.
I have also been corrected already and the 3ds screen I looked at was the wrong one.

you're looking at the wrong screen, if it's $16 - then it's probably for the old 3DS (can't be used in New 3DS). The top screen for New 3DS will be around $40, so it will cost at least $65 for the repair service (PM if interested)

You just repair or you also trade N3DS XL screens from TN to IPS?

Where can you get replacement n3ds (not xl) ips screens from? Any ideas?
Nope, sorry. I found a few repair places but when I questioned them about just buying the screen they either said they don't sell the screen or that they are not allowed to say. The ones I found online seems to be mostly old 3ds.

Don't ask won't know. Strange thing is is they don't really show up on searches either which is weird as the old ds screens were everywhere
Yea, I had this problem. I only found the places because I already knew of two in my area that deal with consoles and a buddy of mine told me about 2 more that were a bit further out. This was before I made the post though spent all day looking, when I saw the screen broken, it brought a tear to my eye and I vowed to fix it.

you will have to message the seller and ask :)

They generally don't know as the official Nintendo spec sheet model number is shared by both the IPS and TN panels, hence the variability.

At this rate I'm thinking it would be cheaper to get someone in the States to buy a Mario 3D Land bundle and ship that to me over here...

Hey, if you want, there are still plenty of them on the brazillian version of ebay. http://www.mercadolivre.com.br/. They're actually pretty cheap when comparing to the normal R$1500 we have to pay for a N3DS XL.

EDIT: Did a little search and there's only one announced that has YW7011. Unfortunately, it's also one of the most expensive.

EDIT 2: Nah, you're better off on ebay. It would be more than $320 to buy it from here, at the lowest price.
