If you are asking why here are few example: you don't fenish your lignes with the ";" symbol which is a syntax error
you didn't included the libraries
you use print instead of printf which even is a bad form on c++

Then why exactly did you use C++ in the thread title?

Microsoft has never included a Fortran compiler with Visual Studio as far as I know. There may be third-party Fortran compilers available that work with Visual Studio; alternatively, gcc/mingw has the GNU Fortran compiler.

Whatever learn c++ before writing some gibberish and calling it c++
it have nothing to do with FORTRAN

If you want to learn C++ and have already programming knowledge i recommand you "accelerated C++" if you want to know like everything about the language and the standard library then go for "C++ Primer" the thing is the first one is 300 pages and the later one is 1400 pages so choose wisely

Just keep in mind that in my point of view and many other those are the two best books to learn c++

Plus if you want a good IDE i recomand you code::block which is one of the simplest and most intuitive still very professional ^^
