Are Tapus really that powerful? I did the Battle of Alola thing, had to gen because I just didn't have time to go legit. I found that Tapu Koko was used a lot, more than once it was my Koko vs. another Koko. Pheromosa, the consequence of not researching all the new mons, that is a fucking broken glass cannon, ugh. I loved using Celesteela. Like Gen VI, this generation will see a lot of similar pokemon used in competitive teams. Even when the Bank update comes, going to be a lot of Kokos and Pheromosas and Ash-Greninja if it isn't widely banned. Oh and Zygarde Complete, I faced that a few times, holy cow.
In short: yes, Tapu's are Over-OP.
That's what GVII is: Tapu's, UB's and Z-moves. Every other set will probably fail. I thought, "If A. Greninja is "special", then Tapu's [etc;] are "special" and I can't use them."
Wrong assumption. I lost so bad. I even turned the option for special-mon off.....I was cursing that I was in a room of hackers.
Definitely do research before you get a Koko, Triage Comfey, 100% Zygarde, and Celesteela team crushing you.
I so badly hope GF/N-do make something to block UB & Tapu's, or just make a league where those are the only Assmon that can battle.

Online is ruined. If you don't use Z-moves, Tapu's and UB's, you'll probably get rekt. If you do win, (without using the aforementioned) your opponent didn't know how to play.
The only fix is labelling all of those as 'special' and forbidding them from being used. It might seem lame, but online would be much better if you weren't (nearly) forced to have to use something from one of those categories, at the bare minimum, for a chance to defend yourself from 'pota-masters.'
