Homebrew Nes Emulator (CIA or Homebrew) Besides Retroarch Cores?

Is there a Nes Emulator for 3DS besides the Retroarch Cores? I've got an N3DS with A9LH and Luma, so it doesn't matter if it is CIA or Homebrew, but I can't seem to find one except the abandoned 3DNES.

SNES9X for 3DS is fantastic, and I love that you can run cheats on it too. The Retroarch cores are okay to just play the games, but I really enjoy using cheats (Game Genie, etc...) to just play around with the games sometimes. However, the Retroarch Cores won't load cheats. I've downloaded the correct files, put them in the right folder, and even loaded them, but when I try to apply them to the game, they have no effect. Any ideas on a way to get this working or an alternative NES Emulator?

You can't use cheats on Virtual Console.

You actually can. You can use NTR. The VC also has a proprietary cheat engine with no documentation, which is used for download play multiplayer and Pokemon Wi-Fi trading

I can't get them to work on 3DS, but they do work on the iOS and PC versions of Retroarch.

How do I do this? I'll try to download NTR and see if I can figure it out. Does the VC's cheat engine allow Game Genie-like cheats, or does it only allow certain things like you mentioned about Pokemon?

NTR I don't know, I'm sure you can figure it out from information on the forum.

Regarding VC, I know it's possible to convert AR codes, but as I said, no documentation.

From what I understand after a bit of research, someone would have to write a plugin for NTR to enable cheats in VC games. Someone has already done this for a couple of the Pokemon games, but that's all I could find.

3DNES, hasn't been updated in ages, but last release as i recall played pretty much everything full speed
