It finally time! I'm releasing my new hax methods! I'll slowly be rolling out threads with more information.

Today's hax is not for everyone, in fact it's not even a method to install cfw/a9lh/cias, in fact, you can't even access the home brew method with it. But don't worry, this can still come in handy.

For all you menuhax peasants, it can recover softbricks, and for you a9lh-ers it can recover hardbricks.

The reasons our 3dss are so susceptible to brick ingredients is something called 'magic smoke' more complicated devices tend to have more of it, but it also causes more problems. Think of the nes, it was a simple device, and it had very little magic smoke, how many softbricked nes' have you seen?

So the procedure is simple, take your favorite screwdriver and open up your 3ds, don't worry, it's easy. You'll want to remove the backplate, and then the entire bottom half of the shell of the 3ds. It may look scary, but it's hard to mess up. You'll have had to take out the battery, so tape that back in or plug in the console, you just want power. It's not necessary but it improved the effect. The battery is like the heart that pumps the magic smoke the device. Now that your device is powered, take your screwdriver or a sharp knife/pair of scissors. You'll want to locate the thing that looks inportant. Any one them, these are magic smoke manipulators, they take the smoke and make it useful. Take your object and gently press it against the useful looking thing. Gently apply pressure. Now simply lift the object about a foot off the systen, keeping it above where you applied the pressure. Now gently, gently, GENTLY SLAM YOUR POINTY OBJECT INTO THE IMPORTANT THING. Your goal is to release some of this smoke, too much causes problems. You won't see much from here since they don't adore much. (Optionally) you can also take a soldering iron, melt some solder and just let it drip onto any small exposed metal bits. Next take the battery, it can be powering the console or not, and just puncture it, give it a nice hole. Great, you're done!

Plug your ds into ahold source of power, hit the power button on your console and whatever was causing you trouble ahold no longer be in your way!
