Hi, I have a problem with downgrading my N3DS XL
So, I have a 2 N3ds XL, one with arm9loaderhax and luma3DS and one on 11.2.0.35E (caused by a failed downgrade, this one was on 9.5.0.22 and in the end I had do upgrade it).

So I followed the https://3ds.guide/dsiware-downgrade-(app-injection-and-second-3ds) guide.
Everything went fine, until the Data-Transfer. The Game Steel Divers didn't went on the new device, it stayed on the source sd card. Now I cant launch the Homebrew-Launcher.

This is what I tried:
- put the Source sd card in the targed N3DS and tried to launch Steel Divers. But then the Game just crashes, says an Error occurred.
- Copied the folder savadata from the source sd card to targed sd card, but the game dont occurred in the menu of the targed N3DS.
- Downloaded otherapp payload, copied it to the root of the source sd card and tried to start steel divers with holding the B button

None on them worked. Has anyone an idee, I'm really desperate. Any help or tip is appreciated.

I don't know, how I can put on another entry point. :(

What other entry points are there and do they work, because the target N3DS has the NNID of the Source N3DS?

Do this:

Go to Settings, Software, 3DS Software, delete Steel Divers, but choose to back up the save data
Go to eShop, and redownoad it

It should work now.

Tried it, but it doesn't work. :(
I put the sd card from the soruce n3ds in the target n3ds, reinstalled the game and kept the save stats, but it wont work.
Still get the same error message, that an error occured.
On the targed sd card wanst the game listet, so i couldnt try it there :/

Did you make a mistake during the system transfer? That's all I can think of.
If you have time to spare you can wait 7 days, transfer back, fix up Steel Divers, wait another 7 days and transfer again - or just buy an exploitable game (I think the latter is best - imagine waiting an extra 14 days to find you'd made the same mistake again and it still won't work)

Yes, that sound better, just to buy an exploitable game. Waiting 14 days is way to long.
So which game should I buy and how do I proceed then?
I have an EU N3DS XL with 11.2.0.35E
I have also a Sky3ds card, if that helps.

Thank you guys so much, it actually worked :)
For whatever reason, ninjahax didn't worked but Freaky Forms did with the Sky3ds! :toot:

May I ask another question?
Now that I have the the NNID from the source n3ds on the target n3ds, what way should I take to switch back the NNID?
The data from the source n3ds stayed the source sd card (what caused my problem).
So is it save the put the target sd card in the source n3ds and the other way around and THAN change NNID in 7 days?
Or should the sd cards just stay where there are and change then the NNID?

Again, thank you guys so much, I was really desperate and now (nearly) everthing is fine :)

It isn't possible to move the data back - you can't put the SD card from one console in another as the data in the Nintendo 3DS folder in encrypted per console. The only way to move the data back is to do a system transfer, but you can't in this case because you can't transfer new->old.
What you can do is install all the games on the old 3DS again, then use JKSM to back up your save games on the N3DS and restore them on the old 3DS. You can also ring up Nintendo and ask them to move the NNID back into the old 3DS. So you won't have things like Activity Log and Mii Plaza but you'll have everything else.

I have to, because the other n3ds is my girlfriend's and she wants to have her Id back :D

@Quantumcat
They are both new 3ds XL, one the Zelda Edition and the other the Monster Hunter Edition. Could it work in this case? :)

I don't know why I thought you were doing O3DS->N3DS!! Yes you can definitely transfer back.

Thank you so much, you are really an awesome person and helped me a lot :)
So just leave every sd card in the attached n3ds or should I switch before transferring?
Definitely leave it in otherwise the data will miss out on being converted for the other console, then no console will be able to read it :-s The system transfer process will tell you when the right time to move cards is.

Ok, this is the step, where I'm absolute unsure how to proceed :D
With the first data transfer, dsiware told me in the end to switch the sd cards. But the arm9loaderhax are on the native sd cards.
So, just put the sd cards in the respectively other n3ds' (like it should it be after the transfer) and then data transfer again?
Or just put the sd cards just like they where in the beginning, before the data transfer, and then transfer again?

The SD card should be in the console that can read it before the system transfer. If none of your games show up on the home menu, then you've got the wrong SD card in.

Edit: if you want the stuff on the source to still be there after the transfer, make a NAND backup and restore it afterward (NNID stuff won't work, and your consoles may get banned if you both play online at the same time).
