According to the foxconn leak which is covered in my other post, the dev unit actually sport an external gp106/ gtx 1060. Though unlikely in the retail unit, usb c is capable of thunderbolt 3.0 with the right controller, or this could also be a modified version done by some other companies. I really hate it when the major clock boost turns out to be fake, or at least according to foxconn leak.

You should just wait for Nintendo's announcement in January 13 2017. Do not believe any leaks, really. I don't listen and discussed about rumours and leaks at all. Don't trust them.

Don't even believe Nintendo's announcement. Wait for the Switch to be in people's hands and fully dismantled and bench marked.

That only works if the parts are off-the-shelf components already available on other devices, and not something customized to the customer's needs.

That's one of the major reasons why it failed. Hopefully they learned from their mistakes

To be honest, I can't remember what the Wii U's reveal was like.
