Even when nintendo doesn't care about the U anymore, they'll probably release it even when it lags like hell.

Tbh, it would make sense to cancel it. The WiiU is dead and that title alone won't save it, so having it for their next console, which is more powerful is ideal for them to do so in the long run to make the switch lol.

As I stated when I created that thread, I saw it on 4chan first and Nintendo hasn't said anything about it so don't take the news to heart. I'm starting a see few news articles reporting on this now using that blog I linked to as a source.

Nintendo knows that their fans have been waiting years for Zelda:BotW to be released on the WiiU so they wouldn't dare to do that, it would be a huge insult and offence to their own customers. I have it pre-ordered and I really hope that they don't cancel the WiiU release.

Zelda:BotW is the one game I most desire to play on the WiiU.

And they showed off Wii U footage recently in the Game Awards 2016 which was just two weeks ago (December 1, 2016)...

They still have time to optimize the game on Wii U. Developers usually start optimizing stuff around the end of development, anyway.

Pretty sure that never actually happens (played the whole game through and never had a drop go down that low).

Maybe not that low, but i've seen some videos where the frame rate went pretty shitty.
Might be some random thing, or it has been patched already, idk.

But yeah, i don't think it's too bad, at least we get it for the Wii.
+ They still have some time to fix things, we'll see how it goes.
