As the title states, my friend was using his o3DSXL that I put CFW and some games on there for him. He decided to add his old NNID onto the sytem so we can all play online together. But now his system no longer has the custom theme, CIAs installed, or the folder I had all the mod apps (e.g. FBI, eSAV, etc).

I had him boot into Hourglass9 to do the FBI HS inject, said it failed. Then tried the HS dump and it too failed.

Is there a way to restore what was installed? Or does he have to reinstall all the CIAs once again?

FWIW, the system is still modded with CFW 11.2.0-35.

Thanks.

tell your friend to post, it cuts the middleman and help will come faster. PLUS he dosent need an nnid to play online, only for eshop

Seeing all of these "my friend..." posts obviously shows that there are no "friends". It's just them that they don't wanna be scolded. People aren't stupid.

If it is still running the custom firmware, the simplest way is to put the "3DS" folder containing the homebrews again. And to install the lost pirated games through their CIA files, again.
