Youll get through that game so fast because its so good. Then you'll be waiting for DGS like how Maya is waiting for that proposal from Phoenix.

Translating a text-heavy game like DGS is a full-time job for several people. We're doing it for free while also working and going to school...
Also, we obviously didn't get the right tools to do it from CAPCOM and have to reverse-engineer a lot of things to make a presentable experience for everyone.

Is normal that Hans get always a crash when I try to use Dai Gyakuten Saiban? I use a physical cartridge and I can go only until the "hans options menu", where you select the region, etc... But that only on New 3DS, on O3DS when I select the game from the Homebrew Launcher I get a yellow screen...

With region free the game works fine, but hans means crash. @smealum is working on a new version of hans for the new titles, no? Let's pray to get DGS working when the first translation patch is released.

That's correct, HANS is missing custom memmap support. There's just been a release to downgrade from 11.1, so for now we recommend A9LH/Luma3DS. Tutorials and help are all over this forum...

This project is the reason why I care to live. I already bought the original game and very much look forward to playing this! I would definitely like to help, but I don't think I have the skill set to properly contribute...
So would it be possible to donate money to you guys sometime in the future?? And I say that without intending to pressure you guys to promise donator's benefits, or something like that, in return!

Thanks for the offer, but we can't/ won't accept any donations now or in the future. And it's not only because of the legal issues that would cause...

Can we get an update about the translation? Are you people having problems editing the game? How much will take the second case from the first one, more or less time?

I'm sorry about pressing you people, but I really love Ace Attorney, and I really want to play this game, I totally apreciate your work and hate CAPCOM for not doing anything :(

Calm down. It'll be out eventually. When they want to make statements about progress, they'll do so. No amount of pressing is going to change things for the better.

It's because of beautiful muthafuckas like you that I love the hacking/modding community!!!! Since Capcom will probably never localize this game it's up to the interwebs to do it. I just recently got into Ace Attorney and am still playing the first one. Hopefully by the time I get to this one it'll be released. If not I'll just wait. :)

This game takes place outside of the main series (early 1900s playing as Phoenix's ancestor) so you can play it whenever you want, however there are a couple subtle references you might not get if you haven't played the other games.

I see. I was wondering who the heck the main guy was. lol
Thanks for the heads up. I do plan on playing them in release order.

You guys are still on the first episode, right?
I think it's alright to tell you Episode 1 is in QC stage. But you have to remember the first Episode is the most work, since all the ground work has to be done. Research, hacking, making tools, making glossaries, getting to know the quirks of the engine, ...

We're still not satisfied with the UI and considering the nitpickers in this thread, we have to put in some more work before it can be released...
