If you're having problems with slowhax be sure that your boot.3dsx homebrew launcher is on the latest version (1.1.1)

HELLO WORLD!

With the new Waithax and a working implementation released I thought I would make a quick and dirty guide for people with questions! This guide is the first step to achieving arm9loaderhax, and will only work on system version 11.0/11.1. Im using this method to downgrade as we speak and its pretty simple soooo... just do what I say

(IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE OR BRICKING THAT YOU MAY CAUSE TO YOUR SYSTEM)

DOES NOT WORK ON VERSION 11.2... 11.2 USERS REFER TO THE ORIGINAL DSIWAREHAX INSTALLATION GUIDE FOUND HERE https://3ds.guide/

For 11.0/11.1 users lets continue..

You'll need just a few things for this

1. access to the homebrew launcher (oot3dhax, steelhax, stickerhax, etc.)
2. Mrrraou's waithax found here https://github.com/Mrrraou/waithax/releases
3. The dsiwarehax installer by yellow8 which is found herehttps://github.com/yellows8/3ds_dsi...wnload/v1.1/3ds_dsiwarehax_installer_v1.1.zip
4. Ability to wait 20 minutes to an hour depending on if you have a new 3ds or old 3ds
5. dgTool which is found here in plailects guidehttps://github.com/Plailect/dgTool/releases/tag/v2.0.0
6. The NFIRM.zip corresponding with your 3ds also in plailects guide https://3ds.guide/dsiware-downgrade-(save-injection)
7. 3DSident to confirm the everything went according to plan https://github.com/joel16/3DSident/releases/tag/0.7
8. Your exploitable dsiware game of choice which include

The legend of zelda: Four swords
Legends of Exidia
Guitar Rock Tour
Fieldrunners
(YOU NEED ONE OF THESE TO COMPLETE THIS GUIDE)

9. A torrent client such as utorrent to download the NFIRM.zip http://www.utorrent.com/

--First you'll need to set up everything on your sd card

1. copy the contents of the "dsiwarehax installer.zip" to the root of your sd card.
2. copy the .3dsx file on Mrrraou's waithax github page to your 3ds folder
3.copy the "boot.nds" from the dgTool website to the root of your sd card
4.create a folder named "dgTool" on the root of your sd card
5.copy the contents of the NFIRM.zip to the "dgTool" folder you just created
6.copy the contents of the 3DSident.zip to the root of your sd card
7.reinsert your sd card and boot.

--Now Boot up into your homebrew launcher!

1.launch Waithax found in your homebrew launcher.
2.it should automatically start waithax which will take 20 minutes to an hour depending on if you have a new 3ds or an old 3ds(DON'T REBOOT YOUR 3DS ONCE THIS IS COMPLETE OR ELSE YOU WILL HAVE TO RESTART WAITHAX! ONLY REBOOT WHEN YOU KNOW THE DSIWARE EXPLOIT WAS INSTALLED SUCCESSFULLY!)
3. once it's finished exit back to the homebrew launcher and launch dsiwarehax installer and follow the on screen instruction
4. once done you may just exit the installer (you may have to force shutdown by holding the power button)
5.TEST THE EXPLOIT BY LAUNCHING YOUR GAME OF CHOICE
Four swords: just launch the game
Legends of exidia: open the first save file and click continue
Guitar Rock Tour: scroll down and click "high scores/drums/easy/"
Fieldrunners: click the scores button on the main menu
6. If it gives you dgTool screen you're golden

--Downgrading the NFIRM

MAKING A NFIRM BACKUP IS A GOOD IDEA BUT NOT REQUIRED, SKIP THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT A BACKUP

1. All you have to do is select "dump f0f1" and keep track of its location.. not to hard right? (p.s. It will be dumped to the dgTool folder you created earlier)

NOW TO DOWNGRADE THE NFIRM

1. click downgrade to 10.4... just do it!
2. once the installer has finished just exit (you may have to force the console to shut down)

--Confirming the exploit worked

1. boot up your 3ds and launch the homebrew launcher through your entry point of choice.
2. launch 3DSident
3. If the following is shown you're golden and another step closer to arm9loaderhax!

• Kernel version: 2.50-11
• FIRM version: 2.50-11

YOU CAN CONTINUE ON TO DOWNGRADING TO 9.2 WHICH IS FOUND IN PLAILECTS BIBLE HERE

Quick question, if I downgrade the N3DSXL from 11.2 to at least 10.4 from Plailect's guide through DSIWarehax, I just simply follow this guide to install waithax-slowhax, right? I happen to have a 2DS fully hacked with A9LH and Luma CFW.

I'm still waiting on Walmart to ship my Black Friday N3DS, but I do have LoZ: Four Swords Anniversary downloaded on my old DSi. Would I be able to do some magical transfer shit to use DSiWareHax on my N3DS when it comes?

This only works on 11.0 and 11.1. If you downgrade to 10.7, you should just continue the a9lh guide, starting with downgrading to 9.2.

11.2 can only be downgrade if you have another hack 3ds with dsiwarehax to transfer over. If you get to 10.4, then you continue on the plailect's guide to downgrade it further to 9.2

YES! just do a system transfer and be sure that four swords is transfered in that process

these only work when you have 2 3ds，one cfw one 11.0-11.2，then buy the disware on the list in cfw one，then inject app and save，after that transfer to 11.0-11.2 one

you should wait for do it only use one 11.0-11.1 3ds

How do I download the nfirmware.zip file? It just sends me blank page when I try to download it...
