weren't the only games available for this (according to what some other users have told me, as they say the list you posted only worked with system transfer) Fieldrunners, Legends of Exidia, Guitar Rock Tour, and The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords ?
Not any time soon, I imagine. Using those games requires a process that uses arm9 access (I believe) and hence can only be used with a 3DS on 9.2 or with CFW.

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
