Hardware Any way to remove scratches on 3ds glossy surface?

Had an accidental scratch not sure from use or handling or my pouch..

Is there a way to remove the scratch? I googled how to remove scratch on glossy surfaces and most of them recommended using car scratch remover. Has anyone tried and will it work?

On second note, what case is best to prevent scratches? Would TPU be good? I remember using TPU on an old iphone back when it was glossy black (not the new one) and there were many scratches on the back.

Already have a screen protector on. Was referring to the back of the console w the serial number D:

With plastic like that you'd do more damage trying to buff out that scratch. I believe you will be better off leaving it or get a new backplate.

I don't think you could "remove" it.
For future references, just grab a cover plate if ya can.

You can always cover it up with decal stickers. I did it with mine; made it look pretty hot. Probably a little overboard protecting with duraflex with it, but they will fit with them on.
