Is there a homebrew that makes the 3ds screen completely black, to save battery when just using it as a controller with a capture card or NTR?

No, but there is code to turn the screens off (used by eg. retroarch), so maybe you could put that in an ntr plugin or something (I don't know if ntr can use plugins while streaming)

I would love to see a port of Desert Bus in the same manner as the Wii homebrew port.

The idea is trade pokemon without online trading, that make pokemon can evolve without online...
so, pokemon gamer not need to bother other gamer for trade, then trade back again, just to evolve they pokemon...
I really don't see how this could be possible. You could always use any save editor to change the species of the Pokémon that you want to evolve.

Heres what I would like:

1. NNID Changer Tool
2. Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Save Editor
3. 3DS Firmware Downgrader for 11.X to 9.2
4. Kid Icarus: Uprising Weapon Editor
5. A tool that lets you spotpass Nintendo characters like Reggie, infinitely.
6. A tool that lets you streetpass anybody you've streetpassed before, infinitely.
7. Mario Tennis Open Save Editor

That's it for now.

Requesting someone to make swapdoodle/swapnote manager.
-Primary function would be exporting notes to a common image format(bmp,png,jpeg,tiff,...)

Secondary functions(would like, but not required)
-import and export notes
-forwarder to swapnote/swapdoodle

Features that would be nice if possible(it may not be)
-Possibly have a friends list manager, to swap between a save for personal friends, and one for swapdoodle/swapnote friends.
This way, you can have a friends list of 100 people for swapdoodle, and swap back when you aren't using it.

Homebrew request here.
My O3DS wireless switch is dying and trying to use it each time only makes it worse.
Could someone make a homebrew to enable or disable the Wi-Fi on an O3DS ?

Thank you very much !

[Edit] Nevermind, someone already made one. Thank you anyways !

@Reisyukaku has a modified version of ctrulib that they used in the creation of eShop Debugger that includes a "AM_GetDeviceCert" command to dump a certain internal certificate used by the 3DS. My request is, can somebody make a homebrew that dumps the returned data of this function to a file on the 3DS's SD card? It'd be helpful to hyperbanned users to have, since Nintendo released a patch to their account servers requiring a valid device certificate with each account creation/link request, and we have a similar program on Wii if you want a reference. Either that, or another version of eShop Debugger that logs the data to file. Thanks in advance.

I had a homebrew that did just that, and cant find it on my computer now.. rip.
Edit: I just pushed a commit to Debugger to add that feature when B is pressed. (Someone should make a menu gui lib because im bad at those, lol.)

Could you make a 3DSX or CIA build of this commit?
I'll just up it here since i cant warrant making a new release entry on git for a small update.

Sidenote: Theres still an issue in my modified ctrulib that causes apps to crash that use either AC or ACT service (i forget which it was). The code might be jumping to a bad address. Not sure why. So dont be surprised if it crashes when you try to close out.

So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.

cyberpunk at 4k without DLSS/fidelityfx *might* exceed 12gb

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but that game barely runs at native 4k
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it was some newer games and probably poorly optimized PS4 or PS5 ports
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
they definitely will age better but i feel dlss might outweigh that since it looks about as good as native resolution and much less demanding
    +1

When I played Cyberpunk on my old 2080 Ti it sucked lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They have FSR or whatever it's called and yeah it's still not great
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so AMD seem to finally be starting to take AI seriously
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Tandem even
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
Have you ever been beaten by a wet spaghetti noodle by your girlfriend because she has a twin sister, and you got confused and fucked her dad?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
and nvidia is already doing ARM
