Depends on what you do to it.

Pkhex by itself doesn't leave markings (IIRC),
So it depends on how good you are at masquerading a Pokemon has a legal pokemon

Generally I get mon in the game then I modify EV/IV data, that way, half the job is already done (ID & shit)

Well, if you do it as a totally legal pokémon, then it will be unrecognizable as a edited one.
You'll still need to be sure to not put a hiden hability that can't be in that pokémon, but for the rest... If you don't screw up, no one will be able to tell.

A legal pokémon is that pokémon that is in the usual parameters, but a legit pokémon is the one that has been obtained in the game in a normal way (no hackrom, no cheats), without editing it.
In the practice we cannot distinguish one from the other, since every legit pokémon will be legal, and every legal pokémon can be legit.

Normal people use to breed theyr own pokémon and then edit them to make them perfect. It's not common to create it fully new.

Just catch or breed a pokemon while the playing the game and then edit them through pkhex. Not hard and it's undetectable so as long you don't do anything stupid like giving a starter pokemon special balls that can't be obtained. If you decide to hack pokemon for competition VGC, don't have a team of all shinies, and make sure legendary pokemon are in masterballs so that people will think you soft reset to get perfect nature.

Just look up their met location and level if you don't want to catch. Better yet, just mark them as hatched Pokemon. Making legal Pokemon isn't hard and PKHeX has legality checkers too.

bullshit, stop spreading stupid rumors like that. Yesterday, i tried wondertrading pokemon that were illegal, with broken stats and moves that can't be learned. You know what happend next? wondertrade blocked and says the pokemon can't be traded. I didn't get banned. And I also mass traded 6iv shiny dittoes and legendaries on GTS. YOU DON"T GET BAN. STOP BE A FUCKING PUSSY.
