ROM Hack Is it possible to use PKHex without homebrew

I have been trying to get homebrew working on my 3ds but I don't have any of the games required and read something about save manager working without needing homework to work with PKHex.. I've been trying to youtube/google it for hours not but had no luck...

Anyone know of any save managers that can import/export the save file on your cartridge without using homebrew/CFW. I'm on the latest framework using an old nintendo 3ds

Nope, you need Homebrew. Sorry.

I don't know about Sun and Moon in specific but I'm pretty confident in saying there will be at least one more exploited game, no one can say for certain though.

Powersaves is as close as you're getting without homebrew.

That said, if you're going to buy PS you may as well also buy OoT so you can use PS for OoThax.

How are they going to extract their save file to edit in Pkhex without Homebrew, hmm? I'm really curious about this method of getting the save file without Homebrew access. Otherwise, what they do in Pkhex is kinda useless unless they plan to save the .pk7 files and give them to someone to inject into their save and let the other person trade it to them.

See that's what I mean.. I need a way to export and import the save file (which is the save manager) but to do that I can't find a way that's feasible without homebrew... :/ if i need homebrew I think i'd have to get OoT ;-; fuck

That's because you can't without Homebrew. You're best bet is getting Oot and a Powersaves.

I got that, but why should the OP use it if they can't even extract their save? The OP's first post even asks how to extract their save without Homebrew. To me, there's no point.

If they do that, then the OP would be sitting down looking at the program and look at the Pokemon they can't have. It's like walking into a bank and saying, "Wow. Look at all the money I can't have."

Okay, Would I need definitely need a powersaves though if I get OoT.. Couldn't I just install homebrew through OoT and then add a save manager folder into the ds file (like I seen on some youtube videos)

That's if you have another 3DS with access to The Homebrew Launcher already.
If you don't have access to another 3DS with HBL on it already, you require a Powersaves.

OOT is the only game cart exploit where powersaves is needed though. If you can find any other of the games you'll be instantly good to go

Like does the pokemon ORA 1 still work with the latest 3ds patch (11.2.0.35E) because if so i'll buy that now but on the website it says it only goes from 9 - 11

Pokemon still works but it's a secondary exploit so you still need HomeBrew access to install it anyway. Your only option without homebrew access prior is OOtHAX via Powersaves or Freakforms Deluxe if you can find a cartridge. Other than that your only option is OOT and Powersaves since the other secondary exploits require HB access to install and that one doesn't.
