i'm not sure, but i'm sure cios installer needs a ios to work with... it might write the files but doesn't sign them tsunga bug or something was the name... ios36 old version is capable of signing and ios236 is capable

that won't help since those 2 might not be signed... install ios236, then cios 249 and cios250 and try again. if you're trying to start a gamecube game make sure you've got nintendont in the right place with the right name. i would install cios 220 till 226 also...
ooh forgot, i'm not sure ntfs is working as a filesystem in usb-loader now, i needed fat32 a few years back... i sold my wii so i lost track of last updates.

that site is okay but mostly incomplete in its steps... they never tried a virgin wii installation, so sometimes it works for them only they forgot they already used 3 steps before... and the site is not really up to date. stem 3 is optional

so whats the original steps

oops made a typo, 236 is less risky i meant.
wait some time for it to forget you are a pirate.. i specific said you're not a pirate... it triggers a fail to install.

vWii hack and Wii hack are 2 different methods I believe ( I could be wrong ).
If your trying to fix an issue on the Wii and not vWii. Try ModMii , that should help I believe.
