I am one of those 11.0 owners who is waiting for the slowhax exploit. Unfortunately I do not have any idea about how any of these exploits work and what I need. Do I need to purchase legends of exidia and/or any other game while I wait for slowhax? If so, how do I do it in a safe way without updating my system? Is there a comprehensive tutorial on this (preferably a video tutorial)?

Id say purchase it whilst its still on as it could get removed. Use cttr-pwn on the hacked 3ds :)

Thanks, but I think I was not clear, I am a total noob :D . I do not know what ctr-pwn is or where I get the starter pack from or how to set up the homebrew. Could you help me out and point me the direction?

You need a second 3DS with CFW to do it or hardmod :)

Oh, I know that I cannot currently mod my 3ds. As I mentioned in my original post, I am waiting for the slowhax which is supposed to be released at the end of this month. However I read that I need to get legends of exidia before it gets pulled from the store to be ready for slowhax. That is what I am trying to do.

Aaah, yes, use cttr-pwn on your nonhacked 3ds to buy LoE then wait for slowhax and DO NOT update :)

Well, my 3ds is currently untouched. How do I install this so called ctr-pwn? Does it require some homebrew launcher, that I need to install beforehand or do I just download this and install?

There's no 'installing' of anything. Ctr-httpwn is a homebrew app that needs to be run via the homebrew launcher, which requires an entrypoint to access. See this page for a list of entrypoints and what versions they can be run on.

Ok then, Is there a guide on how to install the homebrew launcher on 11.0.0 N3DS? I am asking all these, because my google and gbatemp searches usually come up empty.

What is the difference between these options? I mean what do they mean by no browser? Do I not need the browser?

So let me get this straight, I try the browser version. Try to run it, if I get the update nag. I switch back to no browser one. Did I get that right? I am trying to be through as I do not know how any of this works.

Do you have any of the primary entrypoints: Cubic Ninja/Freaky Forms/

Yeah that's right. But you could also try the 11.0 browserhax fix. It's a thread started by me, have a search

So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.

cyberpunk at 4k without DLSS/fidelityfx *might* exceed 12gb

but that game barely runs at native 4k
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it was some newer games and probably poorly optimized PS4 or PS5 ports
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
they definitely will age better but i feel dlss might outweigh that since it looks about as good as native resolution and much less demanding

When I played Cyberpunk on my old 2080 Ti it sucked lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They have FSR or whatever it's called and yeah it's still not great
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so AMD seem to finally be starting to take AI seriously
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more

    Tandem even
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow

Have you ever been beaten by a wet spaghetti noodle by your girlfriend because she has a twin sister, and you got confused and fucked her dad?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
and nvidia is already doing ARM
