Hacking 2DS *refurbished Mario Cart Red bundle what firmware does it come with?

Just picked up a refurbished 2ds mario kart bundle edition on ebay. Does anyone here know what firmware it comes with?

Happen to know if the Crimson red bundle is on the latest fw? I saw a thread on that topic, and someone said it should be lower than 11. Haven't seen anyone verify it so far.

Yeah, if anything i just have to pay return shipping, also B&H has some back orders available late Jan for both the electric blue and crimson red for $90. I'm not sure if the latest mario kart 7 bundle is on the latest fw. I did hear rumors not to buy the yokai version though.

The refurbished 2DS I got from Nintendo earlier this year (March or so) was on 8.1. Unfortunately, the refurbished N3DS XL Hyrule Edition I got a week ago was on 11.0, so I had to DSiWarehax it. I would assume the 2DS will probably be below 11.0, though.

Nintendo refurbs are excellent.

Regular ones from gamestop come with 6. firmware. I would suggest getting those if you really want a hackable firmware but referbs I don't know. I would think 9.2-11.0

I bought 3 of the refurb blue 2DS Mario Kart bundles direct from Nintendo (via their eBay store) on Black Friday. They just came in and all of them were on 11.0. I downgraded via Dsiware and installed A9LH using Steelhax as my entry point. Now to resell them...I ship worldwide if anyone is interested.

Btw, the bottom one is my gf's which I used for the downgrade.

DSiware hax isn't practical for me, since i don't have another O3ds to do the transfer. (Sold It)

It also seems to be a pretty lengthy procedure that i don't want to mess with at this point, haha.

I'll be preferable that the one i ordered is at 10.7 or lower. In this point in time, i'm more comfortable using OOT method.
