Homebrew Now that Nintendo took down the DSiWare games, what other way can we downgrade?

I'm fully aware that its possible to downgrade with a hardmod, but obviously not everyone is going to have the tools nor money to do that. How else do you guys think its possible to downgrade?

Sorry if this isn't the correct discussion to put on here.

Well you can still downgrade using the DsiWare method, it's just that it'll be more expensive to do it.
There's no other way possible atm other than hardmod and DsiWare.

There's slowhax I guess, but it's not even released yet and still requires you to have a DsiWare title that is exploitable.

Well, slowhax is a kernel exploit, so it may be possible to use it to overwrite TWL_FIRM

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Other than that, I think waiting for someone to crack the encryption is the only method.

Legends of Exidia is still up, is it not? I just used that DSiWare game a couple days ago to downgrade.

Correct me, but slowhax only need a homebrew entrypoint, not neccesarily a DSiWare entrypoint.

Wrong.
You require Homebrew for the install of the exploit.
You also require a DsiWare title to install the haxxed save so that you can downgrade the FIRM of the 3DS.

slowhax is a arm11 kernel exploit. before 11.0, that was all that was needed to downgrade. after an additional check added in 11 though, you'd need a way to bypass their new version check. easiest way currently, use dsiwarehax to downgrade native_firm to a version without it, then downgrade from there.

slowhax will just give us a way to install dsiwarehax without a second already hacked console

it seems field runners is still up, thats an option too right? hope i didn't buy it for nothing :/
Fieldrunners is no longer on the eshop for purchase but you can still use it for downgrading if you've bought it prior to Nintendo taking down the game.

Strange, so on 3ds's version of the eshop its gone but in the web browser it still exists? tf is this, glad i got it when i could i guess :/ ? also looks like the vid for the game is still up too, heres the browser link, could someone who doesn't own it try buying through the site and see if it starts downloading on the nnid associated 3ds ? http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/OGUpNQTEIXweLmsnVLU4UxP2yWrFPx0k
