Why can't you just dump the cart and the private header of the cart via decyrpt9, amd rename the extension from .3ds to .3dz?

Make sure that there is a folder named "files9" on your SD Card and that you have the injectable file in that folder.



Updating should be fine, NTR works on the latest 11.2 firmware.

The only thing that should be in your "files9" folder is aeskeydb.bin, your original hs.app and the only injectable you need, not all of them.
For example: O3DS USA - FBI_v2.4.2_O3DS_USA_injectable.app (vice-versa)

I cut the list down to the 3 you suggested

When I try to inject, my only choice is ha.app, I can choose the FBI_v2.4.2_O3DS_USA_injectable.app file as I wuold expect.

A bit more background:

• System settings show 2.1.0-4U
• Hourglass9 v1.35 loads when holding start when powering on

Why are you still on 2.1.0? You're following the guide linked in my sig I'm guessing?
You should have updated the system to the newest available update before injecting FBI into H&S.

I'm dumb, thanks. I had to sidetrack via the 9.2.0 ctrtransfer route. I think I have everything setup. Now I need to figure out backups.

Just wondering how to tell if a 3ds is soft bricked or not? Because I tried the recovery mode after my xl wouldn't boot just gave me a black screen no sound and it showed the update screen even though my sysnand is on 11.2

Should I be worried?

Just copy over everything from old card to new one.

If you're moving to a SD card 64Gb+, you'll need to format it in FAT32 with 32Kb Cluster Size. Windows won't do it, you'll need a 3rd party formatter (search guiformat)

Finally got 3ds downgraded and cfw installed everything is running good, but just noticed my 3d slider and volume slider don't work, volume is stuck seems like midway and 3d seems to be stuck midway , I'm guessing a ribbon ,but which one ,would anyone happen to know offhand before I Crack this back open
Edit:nevermind found which one it was and reseated it all is well

You can update just fine.
And you can use luma and chainloader to get gateway to boot

And generally I'd like to know the simplest most straight forward solution for getting a tickets.db file out of .bin files (such as encTitleKeys.bin and decTitleKeys.bin)...

I was just worried it might not be safe to inject a "GW" emunand into the sysnand... would that be alright? it's 9.x GW...

guys need help here. currently installing a9lh using plailect guide but kinda stuck. i followed the guide carefully. and update my 3ds as the guide intructed. but the problem is that i cant inject fbi. i already put the contents of fbi injectable zip to files9 folder and dumped my hs app. but when i select inject options only hs.app shows not the fbi apps i pressed directional buttons but only hs.app shows. any ideas guys? tnx

Those injectable files are only for 11.2 so if you haven't updated to 11.2 yet, do so (like the guide tells you to do) then try to reinject FBI.
