there is no region for the game. its regionfree. (and also whatever game you get, if it has your region as an option, it'll default to that one to pick up)

Only a few reports probably from confused employees on 1st day of the ban said it was not permanent.
Most other reports from managers and highly informed Nintendo employees confirmed many times that their Japanese counterparts said it was permanent ban.
But of course, you can hold onto whatever hope you want, just keep your expectation right.

I have no expectation and don't even care at this point. I would be interested to see if they do unban though. Unbanning 3DS takes seconds, there's no reason every single person that's been banned shouldn't have unbanned themselves by now.

Leaked CIA is an US one. So if you used it on an EUR console and connected online, it might explain it.

It also depend of you connected online before the 23.

Pokémon games are region free...

Hey I have a question, sorry if it's been answered before but there are just too many people talking about many different cases it's become a little hard to search here: I have both bans, if I delete the NNID with any of the methods can I perform a system transfer to a unbanned console and rescue all my purchased games? Also the ban won't transfer, will it?

If you got both errors is a perma ban in general. If you only have 002 error then it can be possible is 15-20 day ban. Maybe. So dont even get your hopes up

I am not saying it's not permanent all i say that If you decided to wait, just don't give up hope on your console after just 15 days.
