UPDATED 13 sept 2017.
Unbricked with acekard ntrboot.

I complete more then 100 NEW 3DS OTPLESS INstall. With 1 unic brick it was downgrading from 11.0.
But no OTPLESS BRICK.

Today my first case. Like i said its more then 100 NEW 3DS dont with OTP LESS. I started using UNSAFE then when SAfe was release i just used that.

I was updating it always when a new release come out.
But i stoped updting SafeA9LHInstaller because it was working verywell. Didn't expect to happen.

Like always i run SafeA9LHInstaller 2.X. Asked for press "select" and then black screen.

Console will light on (blue) but screen still black and nothing happens. Tried everything. With ou wihout MicroSD.

Well. I just updated my files to SafeA9LHInstaller v2.6.6 with A9LH files from Plailect guide. With SHA
Hope never happen again.

But my problem its. I alredy bricked 2 console. Someone perform a hardmod for me. But i had NAND backup.

But now i dont have. I just do have the "F0F1_N3DS.BIN" from DSiWareHax downgrade.

So what can i do?

I can't believe after more then 100 tries, 1 console bricks.
The microSd was the same. The operation and files was the same. It's not the MicroSD or files inssue, because i alredy did today 2 consoles OTPLESS with same card and its working verywell.

Always use the latest version of pretty much anything, https://github.com/AuroraWright/SafeA9LHInstaller/releases/tag/v2.6.6 for reference. Sorry to read about this though.
When was release with the name UnsafeA9LHInstaller. I knew the risk. And even i used a lot. But when become SafeA9LHInstaller. I think, well now i'm safe.

After many many sucess!!! I'll not change a team its was winning. So did'nt look for updates.

Well. It's not so safe like its says.

To answer what you asked about restoring F0F1_N3DS.BIN. I don't even think that is possible...
The only way to restore this was through a NAND backup. Are you sure you don't have that backup on other sections of your computer?
Nah!!!

I stop make backup after 50+ with no brick. I thought F0F1_N3DS.BIN was kind think could safe me from a brick. But i think i just ignored the chances.

Okay, seems i was wrong about it. Im sorry
According to some part in Plailect guide:
Copy F0F1_N3DS.bin or F0F1_O3DS.bin (depending on your device) to a safe location; make backups in multiple locations; this backup will save you from a brick if anything goes wrong

So yes, its possible
But i dont know if the NAND soldering points could be used to restore that file. Google and GBATemp search function is not helping...

Its why i opened the thrad. I consult 2 peoples who does hardmod my country both dont know nothing about it.

I searh Google, forum. Didnt find anything useful. I'll take it to hardmod and give some try.

But i really hope F0F1_N3DS.bin could save me. Becouse i read it too " this backup will save you from a brick if anything goes wrong "

but how to use it? oh god!!

pretty sure he would need an actual nand backup, the safea9lhinstaller bricks are caused by the key#2 being over wrote with key#1 AFAIK none of the tools make a backup of the key store prior to writing to them (although you should make nand backups prior to running it anyway)

so without a nand backup key#2 is corrupted so the console cannot boot

@Aurora Wright if you cannot get the random brick issue ironed out it might be an idea to have safea9lhinstaller dump the key store prior to writing to it for safe keeping (for the sake of the idiots who dive right in without dumping their nand first).......although as we have seen those people like to just ignore warnings to update to the latest version's anyway so it might not really save anyway

That's the N3DS NAND BIN that is created by dsiwarehax from what I understand about it. So yes, it could be restored as long as that backup is the backup to that console.
F0F1_N3DS.bin is only the firm partitions, the safea9lhinstaller bricks corrupt the key store at 0x00012C00 so restoring the firm partition to 11.x+ isn't going to fix the key store that file can only unbrick if it was the dsidowngrade step that failed

Now i see.

Hey people its all my fault. I didnt a nand backup.

Thank you all for clear me about F0F1 backup. i should know its not useful for this kind of brick.

I trust so much. performed a lot of DSihax and didnt backup.

But my question is.

Why when DSi Downgrade doesnt have a nand backup tools like before? I remember when i did first time DSi downgrade the DGtools has a nand backup. But now does only have a F1F0 backup.

well everyone was complaining about the time it took to dump the nand, and really the dsi downgrade only touches the firm partition.....so that's all it needs to dump to do its magic, and once you dg to 9.2 you can use decrypt9 which dumps it faster so it was just a matter of streamlining the process....plus a 9.2 nand backup is more useful than a 11.x one :P

Well. but i bricked a console before when i downgraded from 11.0 to 9.2.

That time i made a Nand backup with Dgtools. lucky i payd for hardmod and restore my console. In that time i used thst long process about backup nand make some change to it firm and then restore to do downgrade and that time i remeber downgrade always fail first run.

Now with plailect guide and new dgtools fast and easy and downgrade perform better i think was more safe.

But i still say. why dsiwarehax doesnt have a Nand backup option if we have chance to brick console while downgrade to 9.2?

We peform 3 chances if brick and only do backup when 9.2

I'll now always do backup. But i want a option in dgtools before do anything. I dont know if the old dgtools works with 11.2 to do nand backup.

I haven't ever done a dsi downgrade (hard mods all the way :yay3ds:) but yeah I would imagine it should have been an option, but the biggest complaint always was about time and AFAIK the 11.x->9.2 can only really softbrick I guess if/when a fw that cannot be downgraded is released then it would be prudent to take a nand backup before doing the downgrade to 9.2

Yes. But like i said. First time i did a DSi Downgrade with DGtools, it had a option to backup NAND and Restore.

After the tools updated. With new Firm downgrade, that was amazing fast. But NANDBACKUP was gone.

When we Downgrade from 11.0+ to 9.2 after Firm downgrade its has a chance to brick ( happened to me once, but i got backup ).

So we only are said in Guide to do a backup when we alredy 9.2.

What I remember of the 1st dgTool version, it only had the FIRMs backup/restore.

The tool that allows to do a full NAND backup (although it takes a huge amount of time) is the fwTool that was used on the early days of DSiware Downgrade.

Don't know if I can post reddit links but if you want it, it's there.

Well. My first DSI Downgrade was kind hard to do. Becouse i needed to Backup full NAND. Copy to PC, modify it and then restore so i can downgrade.
I dont know if was dgtool. But its look like and was same folder callled dgtool with boot.nds.

Well its from that yaraka video in youtube. I just decide to use Plailect Guide when 11.1 comes out.

But if that tool has a NAND backup its should be this dgtool. Just a extra function!!
