Homebrew Can someone just give me the run-down on what I need to do to run backups on the 3DS?

I have the Ocarina of Time hax installed on the cartridge, and I can open the home brew launcher with it, but I don't know what else I need to do.

You're fucked then, unless you have another 3DS that already has CFW or you want to do a hardmod.

You can't run backups without a hardmod or a dsiware downgrade (requires a already cfwed 3ds)

Sure you can waste $100 on a sky3ds+ that won't work on newer games. Sky3ds+ is the only flashcart that works on 11.1 and it doesn't support new games. For it to support them you would need a new version of the cart

I wouldn't bother waiting for slowhax.
I would spend 70 bucks for a hardmod and downgrade. Then I know if I fuck up the downgrade I can undo it. If slowhax fucks up your screwed.

You can pay someone to hardmod it which is still cheaper then a flashcart. Once they hardmod it you can install A9LH with that guide

"Won't work on newer games." Isn't that just Sun, and Moon? And I imagine they'll release a fix soon enough. Not saying it's an ideal option compared to CFW, but Sky3DS+ cards are nice.

It won't work with any new games coming out and the only fix is a new hardware version. AKA wasting 100$ more when you could have payed 70 bucks for a hardmod and install cfw

We do not condone piracy in any way.

We assume most of the times that OP is just trying to run legit backups on his 3DS to avoid carrying a bunch of cartridges around. That's our stance.

See, asking "How can I run game backups" is one thing, asking "How do I pirate games?" technically breaks the rules
