Hacking Banned bcz of playing Pokémon X in Sky3DS without Private Header / Version 11.2.0-35U

What the title says. I've read some ways to unban but my 3ds version was above 11.0 so I couldnt homebrew and stuff on it, so I bought a Sky3DS and played it online (didnt know about the bans). It has been about 14/15 days already, no unban yet. I am thinking about calling to nintendo and tell them the truth (or not, because this was an already used 3ds I bought), I dont know if it was banned before and from what I heard, the second ban is permanent. Anyone can help me here? Thanks in advance.

What is the error code you're getting? and without CFW there is no possible solution for you atm.

That can be temporary or permanent, wait at least 28 days before doing anything... If it was your first ban, maybe they'll lift it. a guy here said his got lift after 28days because it was his first ban.

Make sure your .3ds roms are .3dz and that it has a private header, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a cheap online cart (the game doesn't matter as long as it has online functions) and use it to inject it to your games.

Why does it matter being .3ds or .3dz? I thought they were exactly the same (though afaik the gateway tool auto-renames your .3ds to .3dz after injecting a private header)

Being banned while using public headers is a kinda old story already...

.3dz can go online and .3ds cannot. I don't make the rules but it needs a z to go online.

Oh fair enough. I remember reading something about flashcards (mainly gateway?) only allowing .3dz and not .3ds for safety reasons.

It's been some time I don't look through actual roms stuff though, specially playing online (not my cup of tea)

Tbh, I don't even know what is the error code for someone being banned for public headers' usage; I just supposed his was that one.

By the way, is it possible nowadays to bypass public headers' bans using the same methods ppl use for bypassing the SuMo bans?

.3dz has a private header whereas .3ds does not. Without the header (and the file extension rename) you can't go online. I don't know the specifics though, since i've never had neither gatewait nor sky3ds.

Not necessarily. Just because you have the same code on the front end, doesn't mean Nintendo has you on the same list in Japan.

Really there is no precedent for this mass banning, and everything is speculation. That said - Nintendo offices in Europe and America have claimed the bans are permanent (But it's all handled by Nintendo of Japan ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

in my opinion i think that the console ban ( 022-2812 ) is the perma ban while online service ban ( 002-0102 ) is a 15 days ban.
lots of news reporter claims that the first warning is a 15 day ban.
if you receive the ban before it will end into a perma ban AKA the 022 ban

Most the SuMo guys got both. 002-0102 affects online play and 022-2812 affects access to eshop/miiverse. Honestly from a business perspective it makes more sense for the 022-2812 to be temp and 002-0102 to be perma (I know historically that hasn't been the case).

We'll see what happens soon enough.

nah .3ds is safer actually, but they both work fine.
