Not able to extract the file it's not even compress file. Got from torrent. The file size is 3.05gb. Does anyone know how do I extract the file?

type this on google (Pokemon.Sun.EUR.3DS-CONTRAST). you'll find this file on torrent it has many seeders but still no description.

it was not available on that site 1day before torrent had it already.

Open it in a hex editor and look at the first few bytes. A lot of formats will have something at the beginning of the file to indicate the file type.

.3DS is the extension for Sky3DS and Gateway, it is not something to extract.
If you have custom firmware and want an installable file, what you are looking for is a .cia.

I got it and launched but after the game start it gives me an SD error written in Japanese, maybe I shuold update to last firmware?

EDIT: I updated to the latest firmware in Emunand and now the Gateway menu doesn't show up anymore when I press select or L+select. I didn't use the N3DS in a while... how to solve this?

Yeah thanks I did it and now the game gives me this error:




I tried to follow the manual instructions too, and pressed up+b+y and erased the savegame, now the game hang on "Initializing the save data..." it's been minutes... anybody got the same problem?

It has to be converted to Card2 to work.

I would recommend you get a retail dump.... this doesnt seem right.... If your going to use a .3ds and go online dont forget to use a private header.... Could always use freeshop and get the cia, probably safest bet and a pretty fast set up....

Just some notes. This is the clean retail .3ds sun dump.

-works on gateway only if converted to card2 because it can't handle a 1016KB eeprom save.
-does not work with any sky3ds version. new cart ap.
-you can convert it to a usable cia with decrypt9 although I wouldn't recommend this (hello freeshop).
