Alright, here are my questions...
Hardmodding Questions -
  • How risky is it?
  • How small are the points to be soldered to?
  • Can a hardmodded device be downgraded no matter what
Homebrew Questions -
  • Using a CFW can you add a icon that opens Homebrew to your home screen?
  • What does ARM9LOADERHAX do?
  • On a new 3DS will a gameboy advanced emulator work well.
  • Using a CFW can I install any game I want free?

Alright, here are my questions...
Hardmodding Questions -
  • How risky is it? Old3ds is risky unless you know what you're doing/have soldering experience, New3ds is even riskier as I've heard it's way harder
  • How small are the points to be soldered to? Google it for photos, but they're a few millimetres across
  • Can a hardmodded device be downgraded no matter what I believe so
Homebrew Questions -
  • Using a CFW can you add a icon that opens Homebrew to your home screen? Yes it's called HomebrewLoaderLaucher
  • What does ARM9LOADERHAX do? Gives you access to the kernel milliseconds after booting, allowing it to run code and CFW and shit
  • On a new 3DS will a gameboy advanced emulator work well. You can get Virtual Console GBA Injected Games, they basically run as well as if not better than a GBA
  • Using a CFW can I install any game I want free? Yes

Thanks! Do you know the risks of hardmodding?
I Don't Solder, but I know some risks are not soldering it properly and actually burning the pins, there are extremely small so that's why you need to have experience doing this kind of stuff if your doing it your self but other then that you should be fine
