Ok so I have a 2DS that's at 10.3 and I haven't hacked it yet. But the new 3ds comes out on black friday for $99 and it's the new updated version that's faster. Should I just keep my 2DS that's on 10.3 since it's hackable (I heard you don't want to be over 10.7)? Or should I just get the New 3ds that will come with version 11.0 (rumor)

I won't be using backups of 3ds games, I just want to mainly play my DSi, PSP, PSX, GBA games smoothly. will the 2ds be efficient enough?

For 100 bucks I wouldn't miss that deal if I were you.
I would also keep that 2ds as you will likely need it to dsiware downgrade the new3ds. There's a very very small chance they will ship < 11.0.

About emulation, PSP is out of the question for any 3ds. PS1 will run OK on new3ds, forget it for old3ds. GBA and DSiware can be run natively on cfw 3ds's new and old, and snes works kinda barely on old3ds, so I would suggest new3ds for better performance and accuracy. Anything 8bit will run fine on old3ds.

Just buy a cheap used PSP. 2DS for dsi and 3DS games. And look out for that Black deal
