Homebrew Is it possible to edit game saves without homebrew?

So I wouldn't mind editing my Pokemon X and Animal Crossing NL saves, but my system is on 11.2.0-35U. Is there any way I could edit them without homebrew? Could I get my saves onto the computer somehow? Or is it completely impossible as of right now?

Most saves are encrypted with a key unique to each console (only games that are positively ancient now like OoT & Cubic Ninja don't do this), or each game cartridge, so no, not really. You'll need to run *hax to realistically edit saves.

can't edit saves with this afaik, due to per-cart encryption and not having all the keys.

1) Nope, nothing at all
2) I'm going to assume *hax is things such as Oot3dhax, smashax, Ninjhax, etc.
Which is basically games that can be exploited to run the Homebrew Launcher (which is what allows you to edit saves and other cool stuff)

...Which is completely impossible since I have the latest update right? And I also heard it's impossible to downgrade the 3DS now, even if I do have the first 3DS model. Am I right about that?

It is possible, but not all the entrypoints work on the latest firmware.
It's also possible to downgrade using a second (hacked) 3DS or a hardmod.

Sorry for u but at the Moment are Powersaves ur only way to modify ur savegames.
U can also access Homebrew with them....(u still need Ocarina of Time)
And here is a Guide to get in the Homebrew with these Powersaves and Ocarina of Time.
Menuhax is at the Moment offline so u need to use this Version at the End of my Post.

All I want to do is edit my saves. So all I need is powersaves and that would let me back up my data to my PC and edit it? Is this too good to be true?

EDIT: Let me guess. This doesn't work with windows 10

Just how good is power saves? I mean is basically like save editors, but people make homebrew save editors. Does powersaves extract the decrypted save data like homebrew jksm, svdt, or fbi?

JKSM is crap.
I Backedup my 3ds Save of Paper Mario and SuperSmashBros and now I can't restore them....
I think Powersaves are the best Solution....

Powersaves will not let you physically edit your acnl stuff. All it does is give you money or items.

Could I pick the items though? All I really want to do is fill my catalogue and have all the town construction options available. My villagers don't suggest projects to me that often.

It doesn't unlock any PWP projects
Only catalogue item things. You can choose but it's like 5 items at a time. Very slow paced and tedious

That's too bad about the projects. Maybe they could update it at some point. As for the catalogue, it sounds tedious, but at least it won't be as tedious as getting everything legitimately.

Now question about Pokemon X. First, is there a code for 100% pokedex, as in it has all sexes and shiny forms for each pokemon? Also, is there a cheat for infinite hp, or 999 of each stat? All I have to do is get the trophies for battle frontier.

And is it possible to make recommendations for the person who made this device? Maybe I could recommend the projects to him.
