For anyone in the us, with an US 3ds, that did not connect to the servers before the 17th, is safe to play... only way you would get banned is if you played online before the release date, if you're on EUR you have to wait until the 23rd.

I was already banned on my a9lh 3DS is the thing, I just dunno if my save is now "tainted" and will now ban my normal 3DS is the thing. I have no reason to believe it will be but I can't help but be a little paranoid now.

Yeah, I'm inclined to believe it has nothing to do with the save, but I'd be real bummed out if my normal 3DS would now get hit for this. Guess I could back up my Pokemon and toss them into a new save if I really don't want to risk it.

I have no friends on my list either way.. and never paid much attention to it before.
