You don't need hacks to play Wii games on the Wii U.
Nintendo let you do it out of the box. Just insert a Wii disc

If you want to use a backup loader for Wii games then run wuphax to get the vWii homebrew channel, and then install USB Loader GX.
This is one of those things that you should really have searched first.

You don't even need hacks or mods. You launch wii mode that is installed. You can even put the disc in and launch the disc channel

It's called vWii and is right there in your Wii U Menu. Can't miss it.

You can play Wii games on Wii U, the Wii U has like a Wii incrusted in it... and you just need to put the disc inside, and play. Now if youre talking about using gamepad as a controller.. the only game I know it has that option is XC from the eShop.

The only thing that you can't do, as far as I know, with the retail discs of wii games is to play them directly from the Wii U OS.

I used wiibomb method to hack my original wii to play .iso games, how would I play wii .iso games directly from the wii u? Whether it be a SD Card or external hard drive?
