Hacking How Do I take screenshots of PKMN Moon Using Config.cia???

Recently I heard it was possible to take screenshots of game via config.cia and so I installed the CIA to my CFW and have been having trouble understand how tf one is able to take screenshots of a game using this DEV tool.

I think you use the config.cia to switch to the test menu, but I'm not sure about this one.

No, test menu is an entirely different thing. I'm not sure exactly what that option in config.cia does.

By changing the homemenu to testmenu no? I'll try that in a few.

I think you also need devmenu installed. Not sure, so don't ask me.

for some odd reason I am unable to exit out of the config menu, when I try to press the homebutton (when its either set to homemenu or testmenu) I am unable to exit out of it unless I completely turn off my 3DS

That's the only way to exit the app. Actually, all you really need to do is press the Power button. Don't press and hold it to completely turn it off.

So I had an outdated Config cia and now I have updated it and I tried running testmenu from there, but when it rebooted it brought be back to my homemenu screen (of cfw) so I believe that I don't have TestMenu properly installed?

Considering I have backed up my emuNAND to my external hard drive I think i'll try installing dev luma + the dev tools

wish me luck <3 hopefully I don't brick..

If you are messing with stuff in emunand you will not brick your sysnand.
