This would be great if the app actually functioned. I am LUCKY if it doesn't stop responding after 10 seconds of use. Every single time I try to scroll down it stops scrolling and all I can do is hard reset the console (home button stops functioning too).
Hi, since the app store is becoming more and more filled with apps, it's revealed a race condition in my asynchronous icon fetching code. This was harder to see when there were fewer apps, and more apparent the further you are from the main server in the UK.

I don't know. It's an annoying bug and I've been trying to get to the root of it since it started popping up more frequently. If anyone wants to help me with this matter, populateIconCache is the troublemaker function (currently it's commented out on master).

I only recently started using this great piece of homebrew, however I noticed that (for me anyway) it tends to freeze quite a lot and lock up, when I load it the music plays etc.. but if I try scrolling up or down to see more apps it just sits there playing music and not scrolling

I updated to the latest version to see if this made a difference but sadly not

I haven't experienced any problem with any other homebrew and wanted to see if it is just me, if others suffer with this issue or if there is a known fix

Thanks

You tried data recovery software? I'd only need the first chunk of the file.

Wait, "almost" bricked? It either did or it didn't...

EVERYONE POSTING ABOUT THE BRICKING .ELF FILE - ITS FAKE AND THE ORIGINAL THREAD WAS CLOSED BY A MOD. FILO97 HAS NO EVIDENCE AND IS CLEARLY LYING TO COVER UP MORE LIES.

A quick google search for "IOSU Title Deleter" didn't find anything at all. The closest thing I can find is AnyTitleDeleter, which is an original Wii homebrew app.

What exactly are you talking about?

It's so obviously fake. There is no title deleter, there never was a malicious app, filo97 just wants attention.

The notice put out was to notify that there appears to be issues with the larger number of apps, and that temporarily the 1.0 version of the app has been "crippled" to a smaller selection of apps to prevent loading issues.

I've written a write-up of what the major bug seems to be here: https://github.com/vgmoose/hbas/issues/20

And am actively seeking help to solving this problem! If anyone takes a look, make sure to change the repoUrl at the top of src/menu/HomebrewWindow.cpp, and to host your own local store by running the gen.py script in the web folder, and then hosting that folder.
