Best? Supercard DStwo. But also the most expensive.

If you're just looking to play DS games, nearly any old r4 clone will do the job at a fraction of the price.

I just purchased the r4 dual core 2016 and I absolutely love it. It plays the games flawlessly and saves correctly. It only cost me $16 from nds-card!

Definitely a worth while purchase :)

As long as you have a ds flashcart whitelist installed on your system you can run bassicly any flashcart. There is no real difference between the flashcart besides the dstwo, which supports on the fly cheating and reliable save states. However, the dstwo drains battery like crazy, even in sleep mode. And it's also twice as much as every other option. The cheapest one by far is the dstt which goes for $7, but you need a launcher to use it.

@shadow910512 What do you mean about «have the latest RTS one tho, not V5.0 or older» ?
And what is RTS (just to know).
i mean the latest flashcart from the site ( with RTS logo on the front like the image below )
B6_t.jpg

RTS mean Real-Time Saving, as stated in the site;
Allows user save current game state at any time of the game. Player can immediately continue the game state by reload the save file after the game failed or shut down the console. R4i-SDHC launches unique sharing features where RTS save files can be share between the users
basically its just save state functionality common in emulators

the link you gave me is the same one as above so its good enough for a nds flashcart

@Adamant Lugia And this flashcart work on 11.2.0/arm9loaderhax ?
NDS flash carts don't need A9LH to work, unless it's been blocked by an update. The only one I could suggest, though a little pricey, is the DS2. While it has it's own CPU, and thereby drains the battery quickly, this CPU allows for near perfect game playing. Some DS games have Anti-Piracy code that will run if the game is running a little slower than normal, and the DS2's CPU compensates. Also meant that many games released at the time had to have custom patches made to run without problems on other flash carts, so folks had to wait unless they had this cart.

The only card I'd recommend is the r4ids.cn R4i Gold. The DStwo eats too much battery life in sleep mode, and other R4s have the possibility of having time-locked firmwares (with programmed expiry dates that cause the R4 to stop functioning unless you update its firmware every month, which is especially problematic when their websites suddenly stop existing).
