Hay all,
yesterday, on my "OLD" 3ds, i DL the Demo of Hyrule Warriors Legends from Freeshop and it worked fine,
it was fun to try out etc, and the mix of the Dynasty warriors engine with the Lore/world of zelda is perfect and a "must have" (Iwata KUN pun) for any zleda player/fan etc.

basically if, you love zelda games, everything zelda, this is for you!

but, I'm wondering, should i find/by the 3ds version (legends which has toon link, and the wind waker part)
or the Wiiu version? (which is console based?)

also for the 3ds version, when you buy the physical game it has a compass? what does the compass do?

thanx.

Wii U version because it's smoother and looks 10 times better imo.
If you like FPS and graphics then definitely what he said.

But if you want a better game with more content then 3DS! (HIGHLY recommended to play on a n3DS!)

Hoping for a switch version, but yea, wii u version is the best to play on because of hte extra power it has compared to the 3DS version. But if you REALLY love dynasty warrior games, and you want it on the go, the 3ds version isn't bad. It does have alot more content out of the box.

wiiu looks better due to higher resolution, 3ds has more content but runs slower on o3ds (its still playable though, even more so if you never played dynasty warrior games before and aren't used to anything else) and has less enemies on screen (after having played on both, i actually feel that the more visible enemies can be kinda annoying.
if you have a n3ds, definitely 3ds version.

hmm, well if the 3ds version is that bad, i guess i could go with the WIIu one, (well it's an excuse to get a Wiiu at least!),
well i'd get a wiiu anywise for Breath of wilds in march 2017?)
the demo of HWL on old 3ds i tried with luma cfw, it was okay for me (at least).
to me (personally) it didn't seem like it had slowdowns etc, maybe i didn't notice it or something? lol.

i "could" give the full game a try and see if it has any issues (for myself) so if it does, i'll go with the wiiu version.

lol, i had a look at your post, Crystal and i see what you mean, yeah the game should be able to perform better on old 3ds/2ds etc, looks like someone in nintendo, or the team that made the 3ds version wasn't doing their job right, slacking off.
as a zelda fan, this sucks for us, lol, well, the wiiu version at lest is better IMO. but the portable version should be better with no slowdowns, bad call from the dev team/nintendo on their part :( .

well more losses for them on HWL on 3ds, and more wins for WIIU version, i guess.

comparing the fremerate to WiiU version,it's better.

your definition of "smoother" means better looking image,i understand that you prefer the graphic over framerate.
no i mean fps not graphics (smoother being less jerky) :rofl2: id rather have a solid frame rate. but there are times on n3ds it seems to be dropping into 20fps. it does it less when 3d is off though.

20 FPS on N3DS? sure if you turn on the 3D,but no way to drops to 28 without the 3D,i played the game over 300 hours and didn't noticed any bad frame drops (bad bad frame drop = 3-5 FPS drop).

Expect you have no idea what you are talking about. Tests on the New3DS show a rather stable and smooth FPS

You seriously have no idea what you are talking about and are just barking out your ass.

without 3d it runs nice but i still dont think its 30fps
it shows 30FPS on N3DS most of the time VS 27 FPS most of the time on WiiU.

yah,i have no idea what are you talking about,a single frame drops won't effect at all,but constant drops every now and then will effect the gameplay.
i am not trashing the WiiU version,it's really beautiful, but the team that worked on it didn't work good and did trashy job on the WiiU version.

I play mostly in 3d so thats my problem i haven't played the wii u version ive only seen videos and reviews but seeing as the wii u is using prerendered in the opening that explains why it looked smoother. upon closer inspection of the video 3ds is running smoother. i just never noticed as much since im in 3d allot.

really no hm mode? lumas n3ds clock speeds dont even seem to make it run better in 3d i figured it was using it already then. unless you mean o3ds :P

Seriously, it's not running in high memory mode! I know, I tested it and was pissed off the second my system didn't reboot.
