No. Dsi mode carts don't have the privilege to access nand, which is required to downgrade firm.

I believe it requires the save data to be saved to the system, while game carts save to the cartridge (I think).

No, nintendo cut off wifi, but i heard there was a way to get it back on dsi.

That was only for DS and Wii games that used the Nintendo Wi-fi Connection. The DSi eShop still functions (for now, I believe it's getting cut off early next year), so you can still perform a DSi -> 3DS system transfer.

I can't access the eshop then. I will find a work around, i forgot about the transfer thing tho! Thanks

Do you mean the eShop on your DSi or your 3DS? What do you mean when you can't access it? What exactly happens?

Edit: I just confirmed for myself that I could access the DSi eShop on my DSi. Also note that you cannot transfer DSi save files over a DSi -> 3Ds system transfer.

I dont have internet my ds can use, it has no password, but cant connect
