@cearp

Old makecdn worked :-)

Another question that are little bit off topic.

About the funkiiu...
If i want to dowload a game, i need both the game id and the title key.
My question is, is there things such as decrypted/encrypted title key like the 3ds.
Or really plain title keys only? Will this produce clean cia like what funkeycia do?
(i forgot to ask, what is the file xtension of installable file usf by wii u?

Thanks and have a nice day.

oops, i wrote the sentence badly, i linked you to the newer one, so, good the newer one worked :)

yes with wii u there will be encrypted and decrypted keys, it is just like 3ds.
for wii u we don't make a file like cia (maybe we can??) but instead we just install the folder will all the contents.
all the cia is for 3ds, is just all the contents stuck together in one file, to make it neat and easy.
anyway, yes FunKiiU is basically the same as FunKeyCIA, everything should work perfectly etc, but of course you need hacks.

Does anyone know a fix for building Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright (EUR) with make_cdn_cia? It crashes for me on windows.

e:

I built the 1.1 version, it seems to be working now.

Hi cearp, really appreciate your hard work on making this funkeycia!

I have a noob question about your program... Every time I try to run (in cmd, as FunKeyCIA.py -title **************** -key ******************************) it gives me an error saying:

----------------------------------------------------
File "C:\***\FunKeyCIA.py", line 109
print 'You need to enter a Title ID and Encrypted Title Key'
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
----------------------------------------------------

I'm sure I have input the correct titleid and key... Is there anything that I'm missing?

I used to be able to run perfectly couple weeks ago, but now it just doesn't work... My other computer doesn't work from the start, with the same error... I'm able to run the CND-FX without problem, but I'm feeling proud of using the original~

Thanks again for your work!

Can someone provide me the make_cdn_cia for linux? I tried every make_cdn_cia i download and i still get an error:
"
File "make_cdn_cia", line 1
SyntaxError: Non-UTF-8 code starting with '\xcf' in file make_cdn_cia on line 1, but no encoding declared; see http://python.org/dev/peps/pep-0263/ for details
"

I even download the one that is attached on FunkyCIA2, same error

I've attached a linux and a windows version. Extract and dump the files into the same folder as funkeycia and it should work.

is this syntax correct?
python make_cdn_cia raw/0004000000112b00 0004000000112b00.cia

Edit:
Im still having errors with your build,
SyntaxError: Non-UTF-8 code starting with '\xfe' in file make_cdn_cia on line 2, but no encoding declared; see http://python.org/dev/peps/pep-0263/ for details

But I remember when I first used this I managed to build the raw files to cia :(

You're on a linux box... And you can't simply build it yourself?

No. different architecture. But you can compile from sauce: https://github.com/Tiger21820/ctr_toolkit/tree/master/make_cdn_cia .

May require xCode command line tools to compile.
*source

And whomever has xcode installed and builds from source who DOESN'T have command line tools and Mac ports (or an equivilent) installed should just slap themselves.

Im on MacOS Sierra, im not familiar with compiling/building stuffs like these :(

So I just have to install xcode on mac? then afterwards, what do I do?
Well, Mac is a bit more complicated than simply using linux. You need to first install the xcode command line tools, then you need to install devkitPro. The first part is easy with 1 google search. The second... I've never searched it since I only run Mac in a VM.

-keyfile seems to have broken with encTitlekeys generated by the latest release of Decrypt9WIP (20170115), can you guys look into it?

@Akira did you ever get setup for building stuff?

After installing xcode, go here to install xcode command line tools and perl-> https://learn.perl.org/installing/osx.html

Then grab the perl script for devkitARM here and run it ->https://sourceforge.net/projects/devkitpro/files/Automated Installer/

You don't need to for most 3ds stuff, but you will probably will want to install Mac Ports as well. And Python 2.7 ( https://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.7.13/python-2.7.13-macosx10.6.pkg )

For many homebrew projects, you will need to install git for proper cloning-> https://git-scm.com/download/mac

and you will also want to keep ctrulib updated (clone it, build it, "make install" it (or sudo make install, if you didn't give your devkitARM or devkitpro folder the chmod 777)

most other projects will tell you in the readme.md if there are other things you need to clone/build/install to build them.

Have fun :)
