Hacking I want to format my 3ds after system tranfser (for downgrade) to have different friend code.

No. If you format, you'll lose the saves. If you restore it, it'll be as if you never formatted in the first place.

Yes, but if you do that your friend code won't change.

I believe you can manually backup, then format, then dump the friend save and restore the NAND backup, then restore the dumped friend save.

Just only use JK Save Manager and make backup of all .cia games installed.

No Man, JK saver manager makes individual backup per game. Then just reinstall it .cia JK's and reinserting the Saves the games again. The only job he will be to reinstall all the games that he has and the reinseir saves using Jk's.

I thought JKSM had an option to back up all saves?

And if it is manual, it takes way more time and effort than it is worth.

No. You have to do it individually. But it is a practical and little tortuous solution.

Frankly, at that point, backing up the friend save and doing it the other way seems less of a hassle.
