This one: http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/3ds/yu_gi_oh_zexal_world_duel_carnival
And a japan-exclusive free eshop game (where you buy the cards, I think) who forces you to play preconstructed decks.
Looks like our version will be amputated of a bit of the original content ... Well, they didn't bother to actually change the actual interface , and IMO Zexal is the worst entry in the Yu-Gi-Oh universe ... If you like Yu-Gi-Oh you can still try YGOPro on pc. And if you find a good card game , let me know !

but the credit will go to gbc eh, it was glorious on nds too
True, but you can still play it. Plus, if you have CFW you can play all the gba card games at full speed. This would include games like Yu-Gi-Oh and others... So we still have access to card games, just not necessarily as a 3D title.

@Arkansaw If you don't want like YGO DUel Carnival, you should give a chance to YGO DM: Saikyô Card Battle.

The rules (4000 LP, 20 card decks,3 monster/trap-spell card zones) make a shorter play but you might find some fun in being forced to adapt to the decks you receive
.
If you are familiar with the multimedia franchise (who tried to invade the West a few years ago), I think Cardfight Vanguard has received at least one 3DS game.

And there are adaptations of arcade electronic game cards (cards to collect and use on an arcad born):
- Gundam Tri Age (supposed to contain robot models and pilots from various series like 0079, Zeta, Unicorn, Build Fighters and maybe Age):
'

- the two Dragon Ball: Ultimate Mission (someone is trying to hack a translation on this forum for the second opus), reying on a multitude of "what if" ideas:[/URL]
'

@Ritsuki Indeed, the Zehal game has suffered from random cuts for its localization:
Wiki said:
Outside Japan, the game has had a lot of content removed. There are no Story Mode, Duelist Profiles, no Ending Pictures, no Photos, all Sleeves and Mats are unlocked from the start and there is no Device or Database modes. Only 12 playable characters against more than 40 in the japanese version.

The 3ds life cycle is not even done yet we still got all of 2017 and maybe some of 2018 as well before we get announchment
of something else..
Nintendo also stated that we still got all of 2017 left so im thinking the 3ds will habe 1.5 years maybe more left in the meantime we will keep gettinf 3ds games so still very possible for a game to be released that you want

Plus even that is only first party games. There'll be third party games to come for 4 or so years at least.

There's Yu-Gi-Oh! World Duel Carnival that's already been released.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyo Card Battle seems to be exclusive to Japan only. And there was an English translation of the cards only, but weren't released for unknown reason.

Comparing to the GBA and DS, the 3DS got a short amount of TCG video games.

GBC:
Pokémon Trading Card Game
Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
Yu-Gi-Oh! Yugi's Deck
Yu-Gi-Oh! Joey's Deck
Yu-Gi-Oh! Seto's Deck

GBA:
Yu-Gi-Oh! Sacred Cards
Yu-Gi-Oh! Relief of Destruction
Yu-Gi-Oh! Enteral Duelist Soul
Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2004
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2005
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2006
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Duel Academy

DS:
Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubador
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Spirit Caller
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2009
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2010
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2011
Pokémon TCG: How to Play

3DS:
Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal: World Duel Carnival
Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyo Card Battle

Do they not do world championship games anymore? I like playing the games from time to time but I stopped caring about the anime past the original cast.

You missed Marvel TCG, and SNK vs Capcom. No idea there was a Pokemon TCG on nds..

I don't bother to count Yu-Gi-Oh! in the past since there were so many of them...but times have changed eh

There was also the lesser known Sangokushi Taisen (hybrid strategy + card)

Don't forget there's also the Cardfight Vanguard & Future Card Buddyfight card games on the 3ds, they just haven't gotten out here in english yet. They might get released here in the future though, just like games like yokaiwatch got here eventhough it took a while....

I don't know why since the series are simulbroadcasted on DAISUKI for the international, but this TCG doesn't get any reaction xD I alreadys uggested it above.
