Is there a way that I can install homebrew to the vWii menu? I did install cIOS. Does that include me being able to install Wii games to as backups?

Also, lets say I want to make a custom IOS but want to keep stock IOS. How can I boot into the cIOS and the IOS separately?

Most homebrew is ran through the Homebrew Channel, but some are compiled as .wad files (along with all WiiWare and VIrtual Console games). Those .wad files can be installed with any .wad manager. Additionally, some "Homebrew Channel Only" homebrew can have "forwarders" installed to the home menu, which basically acts like a shortcut. That I'm a little less knowledgeable on, but you could potentially use SNEEK to boot into different NANDs where you would have different IOS's.

When I was in the process of installing cIOS, it had me install to '249' and '250'. Let's say I want to install an IOS to 252. How would I be able to install it and then boot it?

Could I even install wad files onto a number like 254 and then have a way to boot it?

some homebrew applications will ask which IOS you wish it to use, so in that case you could tell it to use that this IOS you installed to 252. There's really not a lot of point to it though.

As for your second question...if you mean you have a WAD of an IOS compatible with vWii that was designed to install to that IOS slot you could do that (how that works I don't know, I've never specifically looked up the structure of a WAD file), but if you're asking if you could install a homebrew app to an IOS slot...well, the Wii doesn't work that way.

There are ways to do that, it depends on what you're using to install the cIOS (like I seem to remember the cIOS d2x installer being able to do this). As for how you'd make use of it, again, that's going to be something that you'd need to work out on a per-homebrew app basis. Some apps I've seen ask you which to use, in which case you could pick this random slot you chose. There might be USB loaders that will let you specify, but I think they usually search in the usual spots the installers put cIOS.

Just to see if I could have different "emunands" also, do you know where I could find the IOS booter thing?

I don't think there's a way to do that. There is SNEEK/UNEEK (though I've never tried it on a vWii, I should say...I think those require BootMii, no idea if any flavor of BootMii works on a vWii...I'd wager not). There are also USB loaders that will 'emulate' the NAND, letting games save to the USB drive or running games normally installed to the NAND, but I don't believe there's a way to have multiples of that unless you're talking about using an entirely different SD card/USB drive.
