Hacking Unable to downgrade to 9.2 on New 3DS

Hi all,

I have managed to. downgrad my n3ds from 11.2 to 10.4 using Plailect's downgrade guide using DSiWare.

The problem I have now, is I am unable to downgrade from what's supposed to be 10.4 (even though under System Settings to shows 11.2.0.35) to 9.2.

Could someone point me in the right direction to a guide or give some advice to be able to do that.

Also when I try to downgrade to 9.2 using browserhax it says 'the browser is not supported'

I really need some help to get my n3ds to downgrade.

The 10.4 dsiware//hardmod downgrade, is just a Native_Firm downgrade. You still need an alternate entrypoint as listed here: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Homebrew-Launcher-(No-Browser)

The system is still treated as a 11.2 set even if you downgraded to 10.4, you need an exploit that works on 11.2 like stickerhax, ninjhax.

If you don't have one, you can't continue downgrading to 9.2. You should probably read the guide again, then again because you clearly missed out on a lot of stuff.

I used fieldrunners as my entry point game and followed the guide, I also did the system transfer from my o3ds hacked to n3ds xl and fieldrunners hack tuns on the n3ds. It's after that, that doesn't work.

Fieldrunners is not an entrypoint.

DSiWare hax is just to downgrade your Native_Firm. That's it.

The guide should have made you install steelhax as well. I am not sure if it works on 11.2, I think it does, and that's what you should have booted up.

Steelhax is broken on 11.2, it's says so in the guide, read all of guide before you try the steps! You need an 11.2 confirmed primary entry point such as ninjahax, freakyhax, or oot3dhax.

This is an exploit to be able to use DGtool on un-hacked console to downgrade NATIVE_FIRM to 10.4, so that at that point we can execute sysDowngrader from HBL to get us to 9.2 (the firm where A9LH is installable).

You should be able to use steelhax on the partially downgraded system.

The guide was written with steelhax but that is broken on 11.2, so you have to find an alternative entry point that's either primary or secondary and set up on CFW 3ds.

On a true 11.2 steelhax won't work. But since the Native firm is what added steelhax PASLR, the partially downgraded system can use steelhax

I'm thinking steelhax works on a system that is partially downgraded.
I have been following the open/closed issues for a few days.

Seems more like he is trying to get the guide to be more accurate.

Before it had a disclaimer next to steelhax that it was for systems below 11.2, that part is gone now.

This, among other users cases, make it seem like it should work.

I'd still get steelhax setup before the transfer, regardless. It's free and takes 2 minutes. It is worth it, even if it is redundant.
