I literally just bought a WiiU a couple of days ago along with a 64GB sandisk Ultra Plus SD card formatted for 64K clusters.

My WiiU completely freezes every time I try and access the in game digital manual in Paper Mario: Color Splash and I have to hold the power button for 4 seconds in order to shutdown and reboot which is rather annoying/disappointing considering I bought my WiiU for only a handful of games and this was one of them.

Now before I start racking my brain I want to know if this happens to any one else if the problem is on my end? Bad rom dump? Bad SD card? Newer version of loadiine required?

The manual will freeze with every loadiine game. Loadiine ready games don't even include manual files. If you want to use the manual you'll have to install the game to your hdd using the brazilian method.

That's lame, the manual should be included with the game. I mean just how much space are they really saving by not including it!? Never the less thanks for saving me time from having to troubleshoot.

Loadiine runs through miimaker. I'm not familiar with the entire process of game injection, but I'm guessing it's more trouble then it's worth to try to get the manuals running with it.

I don't think manuals were excluded because of space constraints, but because the devs who made loadiine had better things to do than try to get manual compatibility.

Just stick to the Brazillian method, it is easier and games run with full online, manual, and DLC (legit only unless on RedNAND with sig patches) support.
also, they can be installed to USB or internal storage.

I think loadiine should only be considered when modding, playing VC games, or using free DLC, it is a hassle and loading times are higher than disc or digital and in some cases are way higher.
