Sure it is if you know someone with a 3DS thats modded. Then you can use the DSiware downgrade.

I have 2 other 3ds but if I do that method won't it make the ds that is modded now not modded

If you have a9lh it will stay modded.

Plailect's guide has an extra section for DSiware downgrades. The only thing you need to do is buying a 5$ game and the nnid from the modded 3DS will be on the unmodded one(which you can solve by retransfering it back after a week if you System Transfer from n3ds to n3ds otherwise if it is from o3ds to n3ds just contact nintendo with whatever reason to unlink the nnid again). If you use an EmuNAND Setup you can use the EmuNAND for transfering if you use an SysNAND Setup(a9lh) you can just Transfer from the SysNAND.

If you really don't want to lose the nnid and use a9lh you could also create an EmuNAND on it, create a new nnid just for DSiware-Downgrade and buy the game on this one.
So you can transfer that nnid over.

That doesnt make sense. Its just one exploitable system helping out another to become exploitable. There is nothing to be lost, only gained.

Unless you count $5 as a loss towards the purchase of the DSiware itself.

Just click yourself through the guide. It won't undo anything on your modded console and you don't care about the nnid, so you have nothing to worry about if you follow the guide carefully.

There's a possibility that you won't even need the DSiWarehax thanks to slowhax and one particular Process9 weakness. But developers need some time to implement this so yeah, you'll need to wait a bit more

Well since DSiwarehax should work with only one device if you have an kernel11 exploit("slowhax") because Yellows8 found an exploit that allows us to change the save of an dsiware game without arm9 privileges.
And since "slowhax" got patched in 11.2 it is most likely to be released by the time somebody implements it.

Possibly due to the super secret exploit that was supposed to allow all new current firmwares to run a9lh without any strings attached but it got patched by Nintendo once 11.2 came along.

@OP Downgrading will be possible, there just need to be exploits found and exploited. Whether or not to release them is up to the devs themselves. Patience is virtue.

Im comfused, this may seem like a noob post but if people found an exploit in 11.0/11.1 that was patched in 11.2... why don't they just release it? I mean it's already patched so what's the point?
